They were dark, yet seemed to contain a raging fire, ready to burn her to ashes at any moment.
Abigail Hemsworth took a moment to gather herself, her eyes shifting elsewhere, too shy to meet Travis Miller's gaze.
"Does this count as one?"
Abigail's face was red enough and full of shame; naturally, she wouldn't actually answer the question.
Seeing her like this, Travis Miller chuckled softly.
"Wasn't that mouth quite fierce just now? And now you can't even talk?"
Unwilling to let him ridicule her and gain the upper hand at this moment, Abigail turned her head, the bashfulness on her face still present, and the anger she forced out seemed lacking in strength.
"Didn't you say you wouldn't waste time coaxing people?"
"I'm not coaxing you; I simply did it because I wanted to, and you happened to give me the opportunity to do so."
