Abigail Hemsworth was completely unaware that there was anything wrong with her answer.
However, Travis Miller gave her a deep look, stood up, and picked up the book as well.
"These are not allowed to be read in the office."
Abigail Hemsworth adjusted her dress and hair; her lips still felt a bit hot. She touched them, then suddenly realized a very infuriating issue.
She stood up, turned around, and glared angrily at Travis Miller, "Did you just kiss me to distract me from hiding the book?"
Travis Miller closed the drawer, his eyes settled on her angrily puffed cheeks, and he tugged at the corner of his lips, "I was trying to coax you."
"You're deceiving me!"
Travis Miller raised an eyebrow, neither denying nor admitting.
He fastened his jacket's buttons and headed towards the door. Abigail stayed where she was, watching him open the office door.
