Michael paused for a moment and gave a thumbs-up, "My wife is so smart!"
Isabella raised her eyebrows with a triumphant smile and stroked her round belly, "We'll see our son's performance later! Hopefully, he won't inherit your emotional intelligence and bully my daughter-in-law away."
"If it really comes to that, forget about retaliating for you, I fear even our son won't be able to protect himself."
Isabella said this and couldn't help but shiver.
"I don't know if Joel will spoil his daughter when the time comes... Of course he will! I can't imagine to what extent he'll spoil her. If our son bullies his daughter, I really have no idea what crazy thing he'd do..."
Michael frowned; he didn't know which issue to address first.
Should he talk about her saying his emotional intelligence is low, or about Joel being crazy...
