The man's dry, warm big palm grabbed her little foot. Sophie struggled twice, but didn't break free. She said irritably, "Thomas Shannon, what are you trying to do again?"

Sophie furrowed her brows slightly, and before she could think it through, her body was forcefully pulled into his embrace.
He gently stroked her spine with one hand, "Fennie, you need to be a well-behaved baby, okay?"
"What do you mean?" Sophie raised her hand, her palm resting on the back of his neck, gently rubbing, "Thomas Shannon, you're very strange today."
