"Is this your card?"
"No, it's not Arthur."
"EHHHHHHHHHH," Arthur let go of the cards he was holding, bewildered.
"Why are you so surprised?" Jack, Arthur's brother, shook his head at his brother's antics. "Even after 15 years, you still can't perform this trick," Jack lamented.
"THAT-" Arthur blabbered incoherent noises in protest, which no one can comprehend. Jack's observations of this only solidified his opinion that his brother was acting like an idiot.
"BUT JACK, IT WORKS, I SWEAR," Arthur tried to convince his brother but failed miserably. Jack went into contemplation while looking at his younger brother.
*Who would have thought? None of the family could have ever imagined that out of all people, Arthur would awaken as a player and become one of the best archers the world could offer. Jack still vividly recalls the day Arthur awakened. Even at 14 years old, Arthur was an aspiring magician. Why did he want to pursue that profession? Jack wondered. Arthur was attempting to perform the trick of making fire appear in his hand using a lighter.*
"Jack, are you even listening?" Arthur called out to his brother.
*However, who would have thought that he would actually summon fire on his own and end up burning my hair? The memory hit Jack with a wave of embarrassment. He had to go to the barber shop and sacrifice his luscious locks of hair.*
"Jack, hey, are you listening?" Arthur called out once again.
*My hair… how I miss you.*
"JACK," thinking his brother has a hearing disorder, Arthur screamed his brother's name.
"WHAT?" Jack yelled out of annoyance at Arthur for interrupting his flashback.
"LOOK AT THIS, MY HAT BREATHES OUT FIRE," Arthur took his hat from his head, showed the inside of the hat to his brother, and used dramatic hand motions for emphasis. Then he tapped his hat two times and -
"WHOOOSHH CRACKLE CRACKLE WHOOSH," the hat breathed out large flames.
Arthur, proud of his demonstration, looked at his brother with sparkling eyes. "WELL, ARE YOU IMPRESSED??"
"Arthur..." Jack's gaze, quickly turning into annoyance, stared into his brother's eyes and he said, "You used your skill, didn't you?"
"EH," Arthur avoided his brother's gaze and acted as if he was ignorant of what Jack accused him of doing. "Me? My dear brother, I am a master magician. I would never use tricks to fake the art of magic. But I'm AFRAID I MUST GO. The guildmaster is calling for me. SEE you." Arthur left as fast as he could, leaving a trail of confetti as he walked.
Jack blankly stared as his brother left the premises of his home, specifically towards the confetti on the floor.
"Why did he have to throw confetti all over as he left? Now I have to clean this up," Jack thought dejectedly, took his broom, and started cleaning.
