As soon as Austin Harper left, a bodyguard in black furrowed his brow in confusion and couldn't help but ask, "President Sinclair, are we just going to let him go so easily?"
He thought for sure that this time President Sinclair would relentlessly force that man to confess everything to explain to Ms. Lewis.
Adam Sinclair returned to his previous position and sat down, crossing his long legs. His entire being exuded an aura of strategic charm. He addressed one of the muscular bodyguards, "Did you do what I asked?"
"It's done, President Sinclair." A tall and robust man took out a radio-like device from his jacket pocket and handed it to him. "I've already hidden a bug in both his pants and shirt pockets. This is the radio equipment."
Adam took it, switched it on, and, sure enough, heard the crackling of static and the hurried sound of footsteps from inside.
