"Sister Sunny, I have something urgent here. I'll call you back later."
"What could be more urgent than what I'm telling you right now? You silly girl, make up your mind quickly!" Sunny snapped angrily.
With every passing second now, the ants on her heart seemed to circle another round on her chest, driving her to distraction.
Holding the phone, she really didn't know how to tell Sunny that someone was waiting outside her door. She could only say hurriedly, "Sister Sunny, I'll call you back in a bit, it's like this."
"If you dare hang up on me, you're dead!" Sunny was infuriated by her. At such a time, she still acted so nonchalant.
"I might just be dead now. Sister Sunny, it's really not working out. Hold on for me, I'm hanging up first."
"Hey, hey..."
Olivia Lewis steeled herself, hung up the phone, muted it, and tossed it onto the bed. After hesitating for a moment, she adjusted her pajamas and walked out of the bedroom.
