An elderly and a young person were both sighing, when Peter Gingery came out from the kitchen holding a bowl of red bean soup, looked outside, and exclaimed.
"My brother is back?" Peter saw an extra car in the courtyard and quickly shouted to Jane Sampson, "Little Jane, your man is back."
Jane Sampson didn't believe it, thinking Peter was teasing her.
Unexpectedly, the next second, James Black walked in from outside.
"Brother, weren't you in a meeting? Why did you suddenly come back at this time?" Peter stood there stunned, holding the red bean soup.
"Yeah, the meeting ended, so I came over," James replied, glancing at the bowl in Peter's hand, and asked, "Is that for your sister-in-law?"
Peter nodded.
James directly took it from his hand, carried it over to Jane Sampson, and placed it in front of her.
