Aldana Candi laughed, "What could possibly be the matter with me?"
Eric Candi didn't speak; he just walked over to stand beside her by the window, looking at the vast blue sea outside. After a moment, he finally said, "I thought you would be reluctant to let go."
Aldana Candi chuckled, "There's nothing I can't let go of."
"After all, he's not like himself anymore, is he?" Eric Candi said, "The feelings, the aura, the way he speaks, they're not him. Even if he's pretending, it couldn't be so realistic... He really has lost his memory. The person he is now is a new personality developed beside you."
Aldana Candi lowered her eyes, smiling faintly, and didn't reply.
"I thought you would be worried."
"Worried about what?"
"About him going back like this, can he really make it? Aren't you worried he might not survive a night with the Shaw Family?"
