Sienna Johnson apologetically shook her head.
The two people were longtime business partners, and Sienna had always given President Davis the lowest discounts possible; she couldn't go any lower.
President Davis was also a businessman, and seeing Sienna's persistence, he revealed his own bottom line, "President Johnson, if you can't lower the price, I'm afraid I'll have to find another pharmaceutical factory to partner with."
Sienna maintained a pleasant demeanor, even as President Davis said such things, "Buying things means comparing several options. If another factory can offer better products, I'm happy for you."
At this point, President Davis understood Sienna's stance.
President Davis stood up and said, "It seems we can't work together this time."
Sienna stood up as well, smiling as she said, "I look forward to our next cooperation."
"I must take my leave now."
"Please go ahead."
