"You don't like it?"
"I do like it, but it's such a waste of money."
Adrian Desmond, unfazed by money, said, "That's just pocket change."
Sienna Johnson chimed in, "Didn't Sixth Master exceed his spending limit again this month?"
Adrian Desmond was stumped, defending himself, "Isn't making money meant for spending? A man who can't spend money on his wife—is he really a man?"
"Can I refuse? The way you spend money, it really pains me."
Adrian Desmond laughed, "That's my wife, always saving me money. Dan Taylor's wives spend money like they have a grudge against it."
"You haven't been lending money to Dan Taylor's wives to buy luxury cars, jewelry, and goods recently, have you?"
"Hehe..."
Hehe, indeed he did, but Sienna Johnson didn't want to manage this man, "My daughter and I are going to sleep now, you should sleep early too."
"Okay." Adrian Desmond's voice grew softer, but he didn't hang up the phone; he listened as mother and daughter chatted.
