Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 140 - Entry into the Tower
Evan Trunsworth went by a table that had holograms on it. It was completely unique in both form and structure. Nothing he had seen in this universe was anything like the architecture he saw.
Evan spoke ,"As you guys know, we have a neighboring number of nexus's that are controlled by other civilizations, one of civilizations is called Harbingers of Fate. They are our number 1 threat. Their ultimate goal is to conquer in order to gain the power of other nexus's for themselves."
Apollo and Cias nodded.
,"It seems that they have stationed a pocket dimension in our universe that they have been working on opening in the next 2 months. Unless we enter it and destroy it from the inside, this has a real threat on numerous people. I will be joining this mission along with some of the people from our army as well. This will be extremely dangerous so I am asking you to join because I want to make sure that you guys will be okay with death."
Apollo and Cias were flabbergasted. Apollo spoke ,"Although I'm afraid of death, I wouldn't say no to something like this."
Cias added ,"Likewise, that's one of the reasons I joined anyway, to grow stronger and protect."
Evan smiled ,"Well then I guess we'll get going now! I'll send you guys the plan on the way over!"
Apollo's eyebrows raised ,"Sure."
… Him and a group of other IDM personnel stood, Evan spoke ,"We all have the plan so make sure this all goes off without a hitch.
Everyone screamed ,"WHOOOOOO."
Evan turned around and grabbed the space in front of him and pulled down CRACK BWOOSH. A crack in space time spread, it was a gateway to a pocket dimension. Everyone entered one by one and saw the area around them. The sky was red and pilled with dots, not only that but in front of them was a giant tower and castle. Apollo sensed that the whole planet was designed as a home base for the Harbingers of Fate.
There were 4 good entry points but Evan decided to pick one. They walked on the stone and Evan Concealed everyones aura as to not cause them to get found out immediately. They needed to find the thing that was powering this pocket dimension and get out. Explained via Information Translation, an item was keeping this dimension stable, although it wasn't needed for most because they would just work on their own without interference. This was special because it had higher dimensionality baked into the Art that created it to keep it from being destroyed and to keep the dimension from breaking out into the natural universe.
They started walking up a tower, the spiral staircase led to different corridors but they were going to keep climbing until they hit the top. When they reached the top a giant bridge connected this area to the main tower, they looked up into the sky to notice a white beam of light that stretched into infinity. Before they went and crossed the bridge however, there were three people stationed and walking around. Evan looked at Apollo, Apollo nodded.
Apollo summoned water and distorted the light around him whilst Concealing his presence and mixing it with the surroundings. He summoned Akarui and stabbed the guard right between the armor that he had and absorbed the soundwaves for a silent kill STIK. He replaced the area with a Refraction clone that looked identical to the guy previously, he then quickly dashed and slashed off both of the head of the remaining guards SWOOSH SWISH.
