CHAPTER 1: The Rising War
In the Kingdom of Gerona, war had become part of everyday life. Towering cities burned under missile fire and energy blasts. Villages were destroyed by rebel raids. Soldiers in powered armor fell every day. The people lived in fear, wondering whether the kingdom would survive another season.
At the center of it all stood King Yoshiro, an ruler worn down by years of endless conflict. He carried the burden of protecting Gerona's people, even when his own strength was fading.
Inside the royal command center, General Arion stepped into the war room. He was Gerona's greatest warrior and the king's most trusted ally. Though his armor was spotless and his posture calm, his face carried the scars of countless battles.
At the same time, Prince Orivel stood alone in his chamber, staring at his reflection in a silver mirror. He was only fourteen, but he already knew one day he would inherit the throne. He wanted to prove that he was strong enough to stand beside his father.
Then a messenger burst into the palace.
"Your Majesty!" he shouted. "The rebels have attacked the capital of Ysoina! Prince Genzo has been captured!"
The room went silent.
King Yoshiro rose at once. "Prepare the army," he ordered. "We move at sunrise."
General Arion bowed. "Yes, Your Majesty. Our forces will be ready."
Orivel stepped forward. "Father, let me fight too."
Yoshiro studied his son carefully. "This war is far more dangerous than you think."
"I am not afraid," Orivel said.
The next morning, Gerona's royal army marched out with armored vehicles, aerial drones, and soldiers wielding powered blades. The battlefield was covered in smoke, fire, and the flashing light of superhuman combat. Explosions shook the ground. Metal collided with metal. The air rang with the cries of soldiers struggling to survive.
From a high ridge, King Yoshiro watched the battle with General Arion at his side.
"The rebels are stronger than before," Arion said grimly.
Yoshiro nodded. "No. Something is different this time."
Then they saw him.
A massive warrior in shining combat armor moved through the battlefield like a force of nature. Rebel soldiers stepped aside as he passed. Even Gerona's most trained fighters feared him. With a single sweep of his blade, he broke through squads of men as if they were nothing.
"Who is that?" Yoshiro asked.
"I do not know," Arion answered, "but he is dangerous."
The battle raged on, but fear spread through the royal army.
That night, Yoshiro and Arion searched the battlefield for answers. Among the wreckage and ash, they found an ancient scroll buried beneath the earth. Yoshiro opened it carefully.
"It speaks of an ancient bloodline," he said.
Arion looked up. "What does that mean?"
"The warrior may be connected to it," the king replied. "If we learn the truth, we may be able to stop him."
They returned to the castle and gathered scholars, historians, and seers in the royal library. After many hours of research, one scholar finally spoke.
"This bloodline carries immense power," the scholar explained, "but it also brings great darkness."
Yoshiro listened in silence. Then Arion said, "If that warrior truly bears this power, then this war is bigger than we realized."
The king made his decision.
"We will travel across Gerona," Yoshiro declared. "We will uncover the truth behind this prophecy and stop this warrior before the kingdom falls."
From the shadows, Orivel watched them leave. Deep inside, he felt that this war would change his life forever.
And far away, in the dark, the mysterious warrior waited.
Deep inside an ancient underground temple, King Yoshiro and General Arion finally found the Chronoheart. The glowing artifact floated above a stone pedestal, surrounded by a pulse of blue light. The chamber trembled softly as its power filled the room.
"This must be the source of the warrior's strength," Arion said.
Yoshiro stepped closer. "If this power is real, it could save Gerona."
But the moment he touched the artifact, a vision exploded before his eyes.
He saw the future.
In one vision, Yoshiro used the Chronoheart to crush the rebels and win the war. Gerona became strong again. But slowly, the king changed. The power twisted him, just as it had twisted the mysterious warrior.
Then another vision appeared.
The Chronoheart fell into evil hands. Entire cities burned. Millions suffered. The world was swallowed by darkness and war.
The visions vanished.
Yoshiro stepped back in fear. "This power is too dangerous."
Arion nodded. "No one should control it."
Together, they understood the truth. Their mission was not only to stop the mysterious warrior. They had to stop the endless cycle of power and destruction.
So they sealed the Chronoheart inside the ancient temple forever.
At that exact moment, the mysterious warrior felt his power disappear. On the battlefield far away, he dropped to one knee.
"The Chronoheart…" he whispered.
Soon after, the warrior launched one final attack on the kingdom.
The last battle began beneath a dark sky. Soldiers fought across burning streets and shattered fields while King Yoshiro and General Arion faced the warrior directly. Without the Chronoheart, he was weaker—but still deadly.
Steel met steel. Energy sparks burst through the air. The warrior drove them back with immense force, but Yoshiro noticed something in his eyes.
"You are not our true enemy!" the king shouted.
The warrior froze.
Arion lowered his weapon slightly. "You were trapped by the power of the Chronoheart."
The warrior stared at them, shocked. For years, he had believed power was the only way to survive. Now he finally saw the truth.
Slowly, he dropped his weapon.
"I am tired of this war," he said.
The battlefield fell silent.
With the warrior's surrender, the war finally ended.
Weeks later, the Kingdom of Gerona slowly began to recover. Broken districts were rebuilt. Supply lines were restored. Families reunited after years of pain. But the kingdom was weak after such a long conflict, and King Yoshiro knew they needed help.
He sent messengers to nearby nations, asking for alliances and support. Some rulers accepted and sent food, engineers, builders, and soldiers to help restore Gerona. Others saw weakness and tried to take advantage.
General Arion warned the king, "Not every ally can be trusted."
Yoshiro nodded. "We must remain careful."
Even so, new friendships slowly formed. Trade returned. Roads were repaired. Hope began to rise again.
But beyond Gerona's borders, hidden enemies still watched from the shadows.
In the royal library, Yoshiro and Arion searched old records to uncover the truth about the mysterious warrior. After many nights, they finally discovered his name.
Eliazar.
Eliazar had not been born powerful. He had been an orphan with no family, taken in by a secret group of shadow guardians. They trained him in forbidden combat methods and dark superpower techniques. His life had been filled with pain, isolation, and manipulation. He was taught that power was the only way to survive.
But not everything about him was evil.
Some reports said Eliazar sometimes helped villages in secret. He protected weak people when no one was watching.
"He is not a monster," Arion said quietly.
Yoshiro nodded. "He is someone who lost his way."
Deeper in the records, they found something even more disturbing: a hidden prophecy about an approaching darkness, a force that would destroy kingdoms one by one. The texts suggested that Eliazar might not be the main enemy at all. He might be a man trying to stop something far worse.
The room fell silent.
"Then everything we believed may be wrong," the king said.
As they kept reading, they discovered that a group still followed Eliazar. These people believed he was a hero, not a villain. They called themselves the Eclipse Followers, and they were gathering in secret throughout the kingdom.
"They are dangerous," Arion warned. "They may try to bring him back."
Then another name appeared in the records: the Eclipse Blade. This ancient weapon was said to be tied to Eliazar's power. Whoever controlled it could command the same force he once possessed.
"If we find it first," Arion said, "we can stop another war."
Yoshiro did not answer at once. He felt uneasy.
"This blade may end the war," he said, "or begin something even worse."
Still, they knew they had to search for it.
So King Yoshiro ordered scouts across the land.
The hunt for the Eclipse Blade had begun.
But while the kingdom moved forward, something dark moved in the shadows too.
The Eclipse Followers were rising.
And Eliazar's story was far from over. TO BE CONTINUED
