Lucas tried to push Flynn away, but Flynn hugged him tightly and wouldn't let go. In the end, he had no choice but to let her hold him.
"You're not thinking about divorce because you blame yourself for your mother's coma, right? But there might be another way to stimulate her, to wake her up." Flynn repeated her old argument.
Lucas unhesitatingly rejected Flynn's suggestion: "The reason I married Tina was because of my mother's insistence. Even before she fell into a coma, she was adamant that I shouldn't divorce. No matter what, I can't disappoint her again."
Flynn tried to persuade him again: "But... "
"There's no 'but'," Lucas pushed Flynn away, "There's no answer to this problem. Unless my mother wakes up and says I can divorce, only then can I end this marriage."
Otherwise, he would be tied to Tina for the rest of his life.
Flynn should know that there could never be a result between them.
