Ji-Mon advances without a hitch, letting the remains stay attached and act as personal blades to slash down the Countess, already planning ahead in the same wavelength as Bathory. The blood began to waver, almost ripple in losing function, having both force their energy to maintain the control they desperately needed "She's going to keep blowing up my army to get more control over the battle. I don't think I can pull off that takeover as easy as before, so I may need to work around her style..." He'd think to himself.
"This bastard's dead cells is going to be the end of me. Every drop I give, he'll just corrupt and use against me. I don't think I can feasibly rely on those decrepit bodies for further generation. I'm going to need to find an answer before he starts getting the bright idea to use my magic further." She'd think to herself.
In both of their minds, it was a Tug-of-War between styles, as they'd clash and weaponize the sanguine littered and bathed around both body and structure. Both would try to pull harder at this mental strain, with Ji-Mon being quick on swarming to her sides, the mass being rebuilt and shaping itself once more, now a dragon's head and neck as it tries to bite down and swallow the Countess, hoping such rotten flesh seeps into her injuries. In response, Bathory elegantly flips her umbrella behind her and opens it, catching the discarded flesh by its jaw, letting her shift such weight to pull it to the side, slamming it into the many destroyed buildings, before leaping herself upwards and sending it back to the summoner. The Necromancer, in response, would rush through, willingly letting himself be gobbled up, shaping the tongue to act as a slide and opening a small hole in its head to aim for a devastating sweep across her legs, kicking into her ankle and getting off just in time for the tongue to wrap around and pull her down. Once more, she'd use her umbrella, catching herself with its width and holding her breath against the foul stench of ripe meat before her, letting the tug tear into her muscles and drip down blood, just enough to surround and act as a drill to slash away the tongue and lunge herself up again.
As she did, she'd see the numerous undead quickly piling themselves on top of the Zombie Dragon's skull, making quick work of them with her new weapon. A quick stab into one's heart, followed by the splash of blood coating her umbrella, closing it and catching it to act as a large broadsword to sweep away four others. She'd pull it to her side to block one zombie's punch, the blood spraying and shaping into needles to viciously mow down its skull, letting the corpse drop dead before her feet. She'd get her drill out of the bored hole and quickly launched another pierce into a different zombie, colliding it with her own blood to spray everywhere like a fountain, shaping those into knives to both pierce through and catch them, pinning them off of the beast, letting it plummet and crush them all underneath its weight. Even with this grand lead, Ji-Mon advanced just as much.
The blood began to bubble as it entered into their system, an experimentation in using such flesh to divide and invade, slowly making it into that similar gel substance, changing its color from a stark red to a murky brown. With this potential new knowledge, he'd try to shoot such sanguine towards her, letting it spray just as much, but was unfortunately blocked by the umbrella, as if she was walking amongst the rain. Annoyed at first, he'd have an idea in dissolving her secondary style, letting the newly tainted blood meld with the wine left behind, slowly corrupting it, changing its color and destroying its structure. Eventually, it began to crush and twitch the Umbrella in her hands, forcing her to discard it, as it was ripped apart by the remains left behind. "...You tainted my blood at its cellular level. You zombified my own blood." She'd spoke, almost amazed he was able to adapt to the situation so quickly, before looking back and seeing the mass quickly rip itself down, aiming to infect and fester her wounds in a similar manner.
SPLASH!!!
Direct hit. "GOTCHA!!!" His enthusiasm was short-lived, as Ji-Mon watched Bathory be quick on cleansing it out of her system, the blood which entered her now dribbling down as mere chunks and small pieces, almost like grains of sand slowly dropping down to the ground. "OH C'MON, YOU HAD AN ANSWER TO THAT!?"
"Naturally. I simply had the blood that remained to make my detox work on the double."
"Detox??"
"The Liver and Kidneys specifically removes any toxins or waste found within the blood cells. Conversely, the lungs remove the excess in such gas by exhale. Normally, such blood cells would be used to corrupt my organs, but thanks to my Blood Magic, it can work like a surgeon in cleansing and removing any excess mass, no matter how small, from my system. I will admit, it was a clever trick you picked up on the fly. Not many Casters would dare to take such a gamble and succeed with it." Annoyed, Ji-Mon would try to re-adapt his situation, as the mass collided and tried to headbutt Bathory into the ground, only met with that very ground as she'd climb up the Dragon's head. "Alas, it is a trick and nothing more. You may die now." She'd demand, as she'd catch ahold of the injuries Ji-Mon has, forcing them open by solidifying them into blades and slashing them down, nearly parting his limbs in two.
As she tried to ensure such a quick death, however, she didn't expect to see that he'd corrupt his own system to provide a similar effect, letting him be 'dead' temporarily to stave off the injuries and regenerate through his own cells. Such regeneration, however, was slow, easily visible on where it starts and ends. Bathory would try to capitalize on it by blocking that healing, more sharp blades made to cut into whatever progress was made and forcing him to bleed out in its place. Again, however, she'd underestimate her opponent, watching as he'd rush ahead without any fear in his heart.
What was he planning? Why is his smile still visible? Is he enjoying this death match? To her, it felt as barbaric as the people in Orochi, fighting for the sake of fighting. Yet, she can't help but be curious why he wishes to throw himself in harm's way like this.
