Chapter 1000 - Helping the female protagonist

"I'm finally here."

That's what Zekka, the female protagonist of Junior DxD whom we haven't seen in a long time, said.

Her hair, a mix of black and dark pink, really stands out on the battlefield.

Specifically, at an abandoned church in the middle of the Kuoh city forest. The Hero Faction she was looking for was using that place as a hideout.

Zekka was panting, and sweat was dripping down her forehead. That's because to get here, she, Avi, and Schwertleite rode their bikes from downtown.

Before entering the forest, many devils—remnants of the Old Devil Faction—also blocked their path. Avi and Schwertleite let him deal with the leader of the Hero Faction, while they dealt with the devils.

"So you're Zekka Miyamoto." In front of her stood a devil.

Judging by his aura, his level seemed higher than that of the previous devils.

Zekka knew this, but she wasn't afraid and stared intently at him.

"Nice look. I'm Moebius Fleurety, a member of the Old Devil Faction. You must have come here to look for your friend, right?"

"That's right. Where is Lilibette-san?"

Zekka asked, but her vigilance as a swordsman didn't lessen in the slightest.

Moebius replied with a wicked grin, "She's inside the church; it looks like she's discussing something with Shi Wengong."

He didn't know that before Zekka and the others arrived here, Lilibette had already revealed her true identity as a double agent.

She had admitted that she was a member of the Hero Faction; initially, she had deliberately approached Zekka to steal her Sacred Gear.

But after spending time with him and the other members of the Occult Sword Study Club over the past two months, she had truly come to regard them as her friends.

Lilibette's real reason for meeting Shi Wengong was to resign from the Hero Faction—and to kill her.

However, that would also make her an enemy of both the Hero Faction and the Old Devil Faction, which had formed a temporary alliance.

Moebius thought Lilibette had deliberately lured Zekka here so they could capture her easily.

There's a misunderstanding here.

"Will you let me pass?"

"Unfortunately, no. We can't let you defeat Shi Wengong. We need her until she tells us where the Infinite Dragon God is so we can get those snakes."

Zekka was stunned for a moment; she now understood why the Old Devil Faction had formed an alliance with the Hero Faction.

But the Infinite Dragon God?

And the snakes?

Until now, Zekka had never met Ophis, and she didn't know she was living in the home of someone she knew.

She also didn't know that Ophis could manifest her power in the form of a snake, which could enhance a person's power once consumed. For example, if used by devils, their power could increase to the point of rivaling the ancestors of their respective clans.

For Sacred Gear users, those snakes could also help them achieve Balance Breaker much more easily, but at the risk of destroying their Sacred Gear—and even causing their deaths.

The Hero Faction also seems to have an idea about Ophis's snakes. Both groups want them to achieve their respective goals.

{Zekka!}

Tensei shouted because right after Moebius finished speaking, he raised his hand forward and unleashed a massive amount of demonic power.

"I know, Tensei."

Zekka didn't panic, but she reluctantly made her breasts glow. She slipped her own hand into the cleavage of her chest and pulled a sword out from within.

With a vertical slash, she easily cut through the devil's energy sphere, which was as big as a house.

She wasn't injured by the attack, but the area on both sides of her had turned into craters, and the forest within a hundred-meter radius behind her was also destroyed.

"You were able to block that attack? Just as that woman, the Great Emperor, said, you really are dangerous."

"Rather than letting the Hero Faction steal your Sacred Gear, I'd better kill you."

Killing intent mingled with Moebius's aura as he snapped his fingers.

Instantly, Zekka was surrounded by a magic circle. From within it, numerous humanoid figures over two meters tall emerged. They had murky blue skin, a single eye glowing with red light, muscles encased in steel armor, and a pair of wings.

They were neither humans nor ordinary devils.

But something else.

The aura they radiated was incredibly malevolent.

"The creatures he summoned… Are they devils too? Their numbers are also a problem."

Zekka furrowed her brow.

"Surprised?" Moebius chuckled, "These are monsters created with the High-Tier Longinus, the Annihilation Maker."

The monsters were actually given to him by an Annihilation Maker user in the Hero Faction.

He didn't bother mentioning that.

But he explained, "Originally, it was a prototype designed for our upcoming battle against the Devils. But this one has been modified to fight against Sacred Gear users."

Moebius said that as if he himself weren't a devil.

However, those who knew what had happened to the Old Devil Faction half a year ago surely understood.

The remnants of the Old Devil Faction plan to take revenge on the devils in the alliance. Especially Eiji—he's their biggest target!

"They have enough combat power to defeat a single Sacred Gear user—even if you're a human descended from a hero, you're no exception."

Zekka's identity as a descendant of Miyamoto Musashi is no secret to the Hero Faction and the Old Devil Faction.

Among Sacred Gear users, people like her are clearly more formidable.

{That Devil really isn't underestimating you, Zekka.}

"I'd rather be underestimated."

Zekka gave a wry smile.

"But I won't give up."

{That's my Zekka! The descendant of that man! But this situation is really bad—not a single one of those monsters is a woman. They don't have oppai, so I won't be able to absorb their nyuu energy.}

Tensei's words didn't help at all; Zekka's confidence dropped a few points.

She certainly remembered that with the sword in her hand, Tensei could only use her full power when her opponent was a woman.

That's because women have breasts.

Tensei's source of power is breasts.

"I hate oppai."

Glancing at her own chest, which had grown larger every time she defeated women in previous battles, Zekka sighed.

With Tensei in her hand, she charged at the monsters in front of her.

*Clang! Clang! Clang!*

The clash between the protagonist of Junior DxD and the monsters created by the Annihilation Maker was fierce.

The creatures were larger than humans, but Zekka was able to push them back every time she slashed at their bodies with her sword.

With every movement, her large breasts swayed in the air. She playfully dodged the monsters' blows and the demonic power fired from their eyes.

Unfortunately, Zekka's attacks didn't deal enough damage to kill the monsters.

{You should have brought another sword with you, Zekka.}

That's because she was only using one sword.

Zekka is a dual-sword fighter; she herself cannot wield her full power without two swords.

Before this, she usually also used the demon sword that Avi had given her.

But that sword...

She left it at home.

Zekka didn't have time to go home and grab another sword.

"Just boost your own output, Tensei!"

{My power is already at its maximum.}

She said that while dodging the monster's blow, then slashed at its neck with Tensei.

But the wound she inflicted on the monster was too shallow, and only made it groan in pain.

At that moment, the other monsters also continued to attack from all directions.

Zekka was overwhelmed.

"Hahaha! How strong are they? Aren't they strong enough?"

Moebius laughed; he kept watching with no intention of intervening. If he did, Zekka would surely be defeated quickly.

Zekka felt both relieved and annoyed.

{If only those monsters had breasts. I'd definitely be able to weaken them and cut them down easily.}

"Do something about not being able to steal power if the opponent doesn't have breasts!"

{I don't want to.}

"I think chest muscles are great too!"

{Don't be ridiculous. Who would want to cut off a man's oppai? That's disgusting.}

Hearing this, she was helpless.

Tensei's weakness was that she couldn't drain life energy from those without breasts.

Zekka wondered why she didn't have a normal sword-type Sacred Gear?

[Poor Zekka. The author of the original work clearly intended for her to have a perverted Sacred Gear like Tensei.]

[Because it was deemed too powerful, he even nerfed Edens Dual. Besides Tensei, Zekka was supposed to have another sword named Shuusei. However, Shuusei was lost centuries ago, limiting the potential of Edens Dual—which could be classified as a Longinus and making its user capable of challenging the Heavenly Dragons.]

"...!"

This voice... Eiji-senpai!?

Zekka's eyes widened, and before she could look for where the man was, A sword bathed in golden light descended from the sky and landed right in front of her.

[As a good senpai, I feel I need to help her.]

High above in the sky, like a god or Superman, Eiji flew with the Gates of Babel slightly open behind him.

He smiled at a beautiful woman surrounded by monsters in the distance. And he handed her one of the swords he had forged back when he was still in Danmachi.

It wasn't an ordinary sword, of course; its quality was no worse than Tensei's. Or it might even serve as a complement to Edens Dual.

Without hesitation, Zekka grabbed the sword, and the aura she radiated changed instantly. In 0.0001 seconds—a blink of an eye too fast for the human brain to process—he unleashed a barrage of slashes all at once.

The monsters surrounding her were instantly split in two.

"What!?" Moebius was stunned.

He also wondered who had dropped the sword from the sky.

Whoever it was, he was infuriating him.

Right now, Zekka's aura was as sharp as a sword, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.

He hadn't expected that, with two swords in her hands, her power would surge to such an extent!

"That was the First Esoteric Technique: The Blooming of a Hundred Flowers, The Last Flower."

Zekka named the technique she had just used.

Ever since she unleashed that slash, many dark pink flower petals had been fluttering around her. But they immediately turned into particles of light and vanished.

{Who dropped a sword of that caliber? That's an incredible sword! Zekka, not only can you unleash your full power with it, but your power has also increased by 300%!}

{This boost is no less impressive than when your ancestor wielded me and Shuusei.}

"Thank you to the kind person who gave me this sword."

Zekka pretended she didn't know Eiji was the one who gave her the sword.

But she was very happy, and her affection for him increased by two points.

She glanced at the sword in her right hand; after the golden light enveloping it faded, it looked like a Japanese-style sword. Unlike the Tensei, it had the characteristic curved blade of a katana, extremely sharp with a wave-like pattern (hamon) visible along its cutting edge.

The blade was a shimmering silver that radiated a blue-white magical aura. The guard was elongated and oval-shaped, with a design resembling flower petals or an intricate eight-directional pattern.

As for the sword's hilt? It's traditionally wrapped in pure white silk cloth or cord.

Zekka's eyes sparkled; she loved the sword's design and thought it was cooler than Tensei.

What is the name of this sword?

{Hey, Zekka, you don't like that sword more than you like me, do you?}

Tensei sounded jealous.

"Tensei, focus! There are still monsters left!"

Zekka tried to distract Tensei; she dodged one of the monsters' punches by jumping upward. She spun wildly in the air and slashed in all directions.

In an instant, she decapitated several monsters. Then, she began slaughtering the remaining monsters.

It's worth noting that the monsters created by the Annihilation Maker possess power comparable to that of ultimate-class creatures.

But now, Zekka was killing them as if they were ordinary monsters. That was to be expected, because no matter how strong the monsters' defenses were, the sword in her right hand could pierce through them.

That sword had the ability to slice through the fabric of space. Zekka hadn't realized this yet; she thought it was simply because of its extraordinary sharpness.

"...!"

Seeing his monsters on the verge of annihilation, Moebius could no longer stand idly by and considered launching a surprise attack.

But before he could do so, Eiji's voice rang in his ears.

"Stop—can't you see Zekka is having a blast with the sword I gave her?"

"Doesn't she look absolutely stunning right now? You'd better not interfere, mongrel."

Moebius froze—not just because an invisible force was paralyzing him.

But right beside him, Eiji's figure suddenly appeared, bathed in a golden glow. Although his hair color was slightly different from what Moebius remembered, he was undoubtedly his faction's greatest enemy!

"Impossible… You, you… why are you here, Eiji Seiya!?"

Without taking his eyes off Zekka—especially her breasts. Eiji folded his arms and said, "Why did you think I wouldn't be here? You and the people in your group should know I live in Kuoh City."

Is this random devil stupid?

Moebius fell silent; he certainly knew Eiji lived in Kuoh City, but he didn't know he was on good terms with Zekka.

They thought that as long as they didn't provoke him or the people around him, he wouldn't bother coming to a remote place like this!

Moebius's face turned pale and his body trembled with fear.

"What's wrong? Scared? When your group and the Hero Faction tried to track down Ophis and get her snakes, It seemed like you were doing it to take revenge on the alliance—especially me."

It's over, Moebius thought.

He was going to die.

Both the Old Devil Faction and the newly risen Hero Faction would even be destroyed by the man standing beside him.

Even before they could find Ophis and get her snakes.

"Speaking of Ophis, she's actually one of my women and has been living in my house for a long time. In the end, you'll all still have to face me before you think you're strong enough to defeat me."

"The Infinite Dragon God is one of your women!? How is that possible!? Eiji, you must be lying!"

Moebius's voice trembled and was filled with disbelief.

Eiji finally turned to a mongrel—or rather, an ant—beside him. There was an amused smile on his handsome face, "Ah, it seems you've missed the news."

He snapped his fingers, and a L*li with long black hair suddenly appeared from within the magic circle. She stood right in front of him and innocently asked, "Eiji, why did you summon me?"

It was Ophis!

Eiji lifted her up and carried her with one hand, "Ophis, I only summoned you so you could say hello to the person next to me."

"Ophis!?" Moebius shouted, his face contorted with horror.

Ophis glanced at him with an indifferent face and a blank stare, "Hello, I'm Ophis… the Infinite Dragon God… and one of Eiji's women."

"!!!"

Moebius felt weak and on the verge of fainting.

At that moment, Zekka had already defeated all the monsters and was running toward them.

"Eiji-senpai! You're here too? Thank you for lending me your sword."

The female swordswoman shyly glanced at Eiji and spoke politely to him. She also reluctantly held out the sword in her right hand to him.

She was thinking of returning the sword to its owner.

But Eiji said, "The sword's name is Yamato; I made it especially for you, Zekka. Do you like it?"

"Ehh!? Senpai, you made this sword for me?" Zekka was stunned and deeply moved. She quickly said, "I really like it!"

..

..

Junior DxD's protagonist's positive level keeps soaring; she gazes at the handsome man in front of her with love in her eyes.

But it was only for a moment; she was too shy and lowered her head until her field of vision was filled with her breasts.

Her ears and cheeks turned red.

{Zekka, just admit that you...}

"Tensei, shut up!"

Ignoring Zekka and Tensei's conversation, Eiji reached out to Yamato and said, "I'm glad you like it. But let me borrow it for a moment. I'll show you how to use this sword properly."

Zekka didn't object, and she watched curiously as Eiji held Yamato in his right hand. But the l*li in his left hand—who is she?

"W-Wait, Eiji. I—"

Without letting a minor character like Moebius say another word, Eiji swung the sword in his right hand.

His movements were faster than Zekka's had been earlier, so that everyone present could only see countless slashes crisscrossing and tearing through a vast area.

His skill with the Yamato was on par with Vergil's in the game Devil May Cry! By the way, the Yamato he created was also inspired by that 'Yamato'.

In the blink of an eye, Moebius's blood spurted into the air along the blue slash lines, and his body was torn to shreds.

The same thing happened to the ground, the trees, the rocks, and everything else within the attack's range.

With a *Ting!*, Eiji had also sheathed Yamato in its black scabbard with one hand.

"....." Zekka gaped, and Tensei was speechless.

Ophis blinked as a speck of dust got into her eye.

"That's how you use Yamato. Zekka, I'm sure you can do it too."

"Um... I think I'll need some time to do that."
