General Saijew removes the blade from the mans side before he sweeps the man with his feet dropping him to the ground as he catches Magnolia and quickly places him down a safe margin away from the man.
"H-He's so fast…" The boy says as he is out of breath greatly injured from fighting the foe. The man coughs out blood from his mouth as he stands up.
"Ah, so you finally appear. The crimson dragon." he says as he smirks slightly, Saijew slashes his blade in the air removing the blood on it as he holds it on his shoulders before pointing it at Baron.
"What is it that you want from the boy?"
"That is none of your concern, my business with the boy will do you no good. " The man's fists become engulfed within lightning creating an aura around it as the lightning engulfs the rest of his body. The general dashes over to the foe slashing at his chest as the man dodges however the blade made contact delivering a wide cut on the mans chest. Baron forcefully punches at the general who dodges but is sent back by the forceful wind generated from the attack.
"Such force…" The general says, acknowledging his opponent.
Baron quickly charges at the general sending out several attacks all dodged by the general, the general attacks with his sword quickly slicing the man's legs creating several openings that begin to bleed, Baron backs off creates a small channel of electricity to seal the wound eliminating the expenditure of blood. The man rushes over to the general however he falls to the ground, he tries to get up but he falls again.
"I've cut the muscles within your legs it's impossible for you to stand let alone walk a single step." The general walks over to the man as he takes his sword and holds it in the air. "It's over."
The general attacks the man with his sword nearing to end the man's life however a flash of lightning strikes the man as he vanishes and the general's sword hits the ground. The general dashes over towards Magnolia attending his wounds, he creates a portal back to the arena where all the children are at and even the pharaoh. The general carries Magnolia's unconscious body in his arms into the arena.
"told you he'd be dead." Rem says as he smirks.
"Magnolia isn't dead, he is simply unconscious." Saijew says.
"Who did this to my young star?" The pharaoh questions.
"I have no clue, it was someone extremely powerful they seem to have a contract of lightning abilities." Saijew says uncertain.
"Lightning you say?" the pharaoh says as he shrugs before resting on his thrown. "Baron The contractor of Zeus."
The entire arena becomes completely silent in shock
Zeus!? Sous and poison both say together.
The pharaoh walks up to the general taking Magnolia from his arms as he carries the boy to the infirmary
"I presume it's true, magnolia put up a good fight before I arrived that boy has grit."
Ren and sofia look in shock as they take the generals words into account.
Ma-Magnolia really fought off a contractor to Zues? Poison stammers.
The rest of the loser team arrives, Emma, kibo, Matthew and Valentina Matthew looks around the room glancing at everyone here before speaking up.
Wait a second, don't tell me magnolia is still fighting? Matthew says, concerned for his leader. As Matthew finishes his words the Pharaoh appears on his thrown sitting laid back, before he himself speaks up.
"If you're looking for magnolia he's unconscious in the infirmary."
The losers all go towards the infirmary to see their injured comrade.
"Saijew come with me now."
"Yes sire." the general follows the pharaoh as the remaining winner team stays within the arena.
"How strong is the general to safely return himself and magnolia from the a contractor of Zeus?" Sous says, questioning the generals power.
He thinks in his head as the others begin chat, Abraham begins to pace around the room. Suddenly a loud Long steady siren sound begins to abruptly fade in and out as the Pharaoh and the general appear in the middle of the arena.
Don't tell me someone has stolen an artifact. Saijew says as he looks in disbelief.
"It appears so." The pharaoh says calmly.
"A artifact? Wait you mean…" Matthew says, hearing about artifacts prior but only assumed them to be myth.
"The 12 great artifacts forged and used by the gods themselves." The Pharaoh explains.
"How strong can someone be with these "artifacts?" Sofia asks.
"One can hold the power to rival the gods as an ability or as a physical amplification whom is over three magnitudes in one's power."
General saijew raises his right hand above his head as he yawns.
"an artifact could be as simple as the generals glove here however with a power like he can create portals to wherever he chooses. However this power is limited for people who posses a godly amount of Devine energy. "Roughly five times the amount of an average person. "
"How strong is this saijew guy…" Sous refers.He says in his head greatly admiring the general's capabilities yet troublesome on who he seems to be.
"Ren and poison you two go to see who this thief is make sure to bring them back alive." The general declares as he makes a portal and the two boys go into it.
The two boys arrive at what looks like a massive temple. Complex whom each have huge towering obelisks and colossal statues and intricate hieroglyphic cravings
"The city of a hundred gates…." Ren states.
"what?"
"Thats what this place is called, it's a temple dedicated towards worshipping gods I had no clue that artifacts were held here."
The two boys walk into the temple as they keep walking they notice even more intricate hieroglyphic cravings on almost every wall. Poison notices ren staring intensely at the cravings on the walls.
"It's so dark in here. Wait, can you actually read this?" Poison asks.
"You can't?" Ren says sarcastically with a smirk on his face.
"What does it say?"
"it's a story about a regular person stealing an artifact and he's able to best the gods in battle. He eventually losses but-"
suddenly the two boys are knocked back.
"The hell was that!?"
As the two boys get up they are attacked yet again.
"It's too dark in here to see anything!"
Ren sends out a flash of light that immediately brings light into the room, the two boys after regaining their balance are able to see a man in the distance the figure appears to be a slim face, blood shot brown eyes, dark sliver long hair and eyebrows, with black lines under his eyes. His figure is slim and small not muscular at all, as his skin is pale white. The two boys immediately realize that this is the thief they came here for.
