Back home, Aliah and her sister were eating lunch.
"soo that guy, I haven't heard you talking about him since mom passed away" daisy asked her sister without even staring at her.
"there's nothing to talk about" she plainly answered
"ohh its just, you where soooo into him, I mean you guys where perfect together, you knew yourselves so well,what happened?" looking at her sister with concern eyes, " Aliah, when it's hurt you should say it out loud, you shouldn't let love ones go so easily" she paused and look at her sister, who wasn't even looking at her and said "Mistakes are better than regret"
Aliah quietly eating her food, still said nothing.
"ALIAHHH" her sister screamed out of annoyance and her eyes filled with tears as she stood up from the table looking at her sister with blazing eyes.
"your loud today, and I don't see why" Aliah said without even looking at her
"am trying to understand you, am trying to help you out here, your in this world of yours and you let no one in,is this how you want to leave your life? " she asked with tears rolling down her chick.
"I didn't say I needed help" She plainly answered without still looking at her.
"you just too young to carry soo much alone" as Daisy said and left the table.
Aliah sat there, finished her food and did the dishes. Her phone rang and she picked it.
"hello" she plainly said
"where do you leave" the voice answered
"present yourself"
"ohh sorry I am Trevor Gonzales, that is your boyfriend, and you left you wallet in my car. Wanted to bring it back to you, may I?"
"ohh ok, Humm sure" she shared her address and they met outside.
"hey" as Aliah waved while walking towards him. He was standing beside his car which was clearly different from his black duster.
"your rich seems like?"she asked as she stood infront of him.
" your adorable"as he pat her hair with a charming smile
"where is the wallet" she asked
"in the car, should I get it now?" He asked
"that's what you came to give me right" , as she stared at him
"well yes, and also give you this" he took out a pallet of chocolate and hand it to her.
"well are we actually dating?" she asked cringing her face
"of course we are''as he smiled at her
''actually I responded without much thoughts back then, I didn't expect you to take it seriously"
"well I took it seriously, I know it's a cringe way to start a proper relationship but I'm drawn to you'' as he moved toward her. "and I'm confident I can make this work. In less than a week you will be Inlove with me" as he smiled
"can I have my wallet now please'' as she smiled at him
" yes of course" he went to the car and got her wallet and also a rose.
"this is my first rose to you" as he handed her the rose
"Thanks as she smiled and left".
"Goodnight" he screamed, "dream about me" he screamed she turned around and laughed then entered the building.
Running up the stairs she slipped and almost fell as she held the handrail.
A vivid memory, of her under the rain in the dark, slowly walking almost as if she was lifeless, and suddenly a bright light from no where flashes on her face, a loud horn from a car keeps horning "HONK HONK HONKK"
as she starts to galp for air with tearing eyes sitting on the stairs. She tries to control her breathing rythm with her hand placed on her chest.
Slowing opening her eyes the first thing she saw was a rose laying on the stairs. She thought (what a beautiful rose) as tears roll down her eyes.
She slowly opened the door and saw her sister on the couch
"where are you coming from, and why weren't you picking your call" as she walks toward her Aliah
"ohh sorry left my phone in my room,i was just downstairs with a friend" Aliah answered
"which friend, was Jules here, or silver?"
"no Trevor was here instead" as she smiled
"and who is that? He gave you that rose, those are special roses it's expensive" as she took it from her sister, "each has a meaning attached to it, he definitely has money for sure, who is he?
