'I thought she wouldn't welcome me, but from the looks of it, she seems pretty happy to see me, right?'
Sharon Sutton looked at Nathan Fawcett and asked, "Mr. Linden, you came specifically to see my sister, didn't you?"
Hearing her question, Nathan Fawcett glanced at her, nodded, and said, "Yes."
"It's the New Year today, and you made a special trip to see her. Is it something urgent?" Seeing that no one else was talking, she had no choice but to take on the role of livening things up.
Nathan Fawcett said, "There are a few things."
"Well, it seems it's not convenient to discuss in front of us, then!"
Once she finished eating, Sharon Sutton quickly got David Hayes to leave with her.
Sharon Sutton said, "David and I are planning to head out. You all take your time eating."
Once the young couple left, only a few of them remained at home.
They were all people Anne Sutton trusted.
Anne Sutton glanced at her mother and said, "Mom, are you unhappy?"
