Earth, kami's lookout
Kami just saw the battle between Goku and Piccolo against Raditz.
"I didn't expect there to be such a strong race in the universe.... Saiyan!"
God witnessed Piccolo killing Raditz and Goku with the special beam canon but is not worried since there's the dragon ball to resurrect him.
"Two Saiyan's that might be stronger than Raditz will be coming here in a year time" said Kami with an unsightly face
"There's still a year left,we need to train the other warriors" said Mr Popo standing behind him
Kami nodded deeply, "there are just a few warriors with the potential,...wait!"
Kami shouted suddenly as if he's seen something unbelievable, "how is this possible?"
Seeing Kami look as if seeing a ghost, Popo frowned and asked, "what's wrong Kami?"
"Son Goku..." Kami stunned for awhile replied delightful "Goku survived"
On the way to kame house,
Krillin looked worriedly at Goku, " are you really alright,your state is a little critical"
Goku waved him off and touched the place where his chest was bandaged, "I'm fine, just a little dizzy,after all I was so hurt,I almost died"
The injury is a small matter. When the soul of Shina and Goku merged his injury has already healed by half and he has gotten a little stronger because of the resurrection.
He's still getting adjusted to the spiritual discomfort of transmigration.
Krillin fell into contemplation, "are you thinking about Gohan,let's wait till your injury to get better to bring him back"
"Why do we have to get Gohan back? He will benefit a lot from Piccolo" Goku asked inexplicable.
After all, according to canon Gohan will mature and grow stronger under the tutelage of Piccolo.
"But he's your son" exclaimed Krillin
"Piccolo is not a problem but Chichi" Goku signed in his heart, although the single Shina now has a wife but Chichi is a wild tigress.
"Can I hide in your house for some time Bulma" asked Goku cheekily
"No, Chichi will take our house apart if she finds out" Bulma who was flying the plane immediately refused.
"Krillin don't tell Chichi where I am,I told her I will be practicing with Gohan"
Goku paused and said;
"Hey Bulma,I need your dad's help with a little something"
Bulma was silent for a moment, Goku continued "this is related to the fate of earth,if I don't get stronger within one year, everyone on earth will be killed including you when the Saiyan arrives"
After listening to Goku, Bulma fragile heart was broken instantly "you've actually scared me,I will take you to my house" said Bulma with a crying face.
In fact Goku's plan is very simple,since in canon Goku spent half a year on snake way to reach king kai's planet where he learnt the kaio ken and genki darma.
But since he regenerated,he wants to optimize the one year period.
First go to Dr Briefs to develop a gravity chamber,then using it to get used to 10× gravity so that he will reach king kai's planet early to learn kaio ken and genki darma since the skills where useful throughout the canon.
"Krillin,I will leave Chichi to you" Goku said with an encouraging face
"Chichi will kill me" cried Krillin
"Do you want to go to the hospital first or my house" inquired Bulma
"Of course your house" replied Goku
He remembered that Dr Briefs developed a 100× gravity chamber with Goku's spaceship so he still has to look for it if it's not easy to develop.
After coming to Bulma's house, Panchy hosted Goku and the rest while Goku and Dr Briefs are discussing about the gravity machine.
"Gravity chamber? There are a lot of anti gravity aircraft,if I improve it a little bit I might be able to meet your requirements" Dr Briefs thought for a moment
This answer made Goku excited,"that's wonderful,how many times can you increase the gravity?" Asked Goku
"I can only go about 50× because of the material,I can increase it when I get stronger material" said Dr Briefs
"50×!" Goku was stunned since he was expecting less
In canon, Goku trained under 100× gravity on his way to Namek, his combat power reached 90,000 then does it mean that as long as he adapts to 50× gravity he can reach 45,000.
It's better not to think about it until he tries it.
"Thank you so much,50× is enough. How long will it take?" Goku asked
Briefs touched his chin while thinking,"it should be about four to five days"
"Thank you" Goku smiled excitedly then turned to Krillin and Roshi,"help me deal with Chichi,don't let her know I'm at Bulma's house"
