Upon assessing the situation, Tiffany controlled her two puppets to keep running forward.
They were getting closer to the crowd that was blocking their path.
The noise from the surroundings was getting louder as it seemed more like those behind were beginning to catch up to them.
The pressure on them was gradually increasing with each passing moment.
A fight would soon be upon them.
There was little room to think of how to proceed besides just pushing forward with what they were doing.
Tiffany hurried to ask Gasser, who was beginning to slow down. "How much do you think you can use of your Quirk?"
Gasser hurried to answer her, but there was some panting and gasping in between his words. "I think that I have one or two left in me."
Tiffany nodded in response. "I do not have anything to use besides my body and a couple of other things. It looks like you will be the one who will be creating an opening for us while arms charges ahead."
Gasser nodded in response. "Alright... I get what you are saying. Let's do it."
He showed a look of determination as he began to increase his pace, but he soon began to slow down once they got closer.
That allowed the puppet with the multiple arms to pull ahead of him.
The puppet charged straight into a group of thugs who were wielding all kinds of weapons.
Some of them were ordinary humans, while there was a mix of anthropomorphic and other types of mutation-type Quirk possessors.
They were mostly types that seemed to have more physical strength, endurance, stamina and agility than the average person.
Perhaps some of them may even have had better sensory capabilities.
Despite them gathering to stop the approaching group, the force of the multiple armed puppets running through them was almost like a bull charging through them.
The toughness of the body, combined with the multiple arms and wild thrashing, was enough to disrupt them greatly.
Those hit by it struggled to hold their ground as they tried to hold onto the multiple-armed puppet.
An opening seemed to have nearly been created, but the momentum of the charge had begun to gradually slow down.
The multiple-armed puppet was being suppressed by the many people who had managed to hold onto it.
All that the puppet could keep doing was to strike at each person individually with each available arm in the hopes that it would help to make them release it.
It was then that a loud noise came from behind.
A shadow was created around the middle of the group where the main conflict had been taking place.
Above them had been Gasser, whose body had blocked out the light coming from above, resulting in a huge shadow being cast below.
He had released his first burst of gas to propel himself higher into the air, allowing him to go over the group.
The thugs were already distracted and had their hands full in the present situation, so they were caught unprepared.
Another gas attack rained down upon them from above.
It hit right in the middle of them, causing them to be knocked away.
The only one that had been able to hold its ground in that moment had been the multiple-armed puppet that was heavier and had already planted its feet more firmly on the ground in preparation for what would come.
Since it would not be affected by the smell, the only thing that needed to be worried about was the impact that it would end up being caught up in.
It was a calculated risk, but it was worth it considering the current situation.
It was in that moment that the path ahead had opened up for everyone.
Gasser had already passed over the top of everyone, propelling himself forward much further ahead.
He had to push out a little more from his Quirk to help reduce the fall damage he would suffer when he was closer to the ground.
It seemed like Springer was about to jump down to assist with everything, but everything had proceeded quite smoothly.
Springer already seemed quite tired from overusing his Quirk, so making him fight seemed even more dangerous.
The two Quirk users of the team had already begun to reach their limit, so they needed to take a few risks to get out of there.
They would soon be as weak as ordinary humans and tired out, making them completely useless.
The last actions of Gasser were already a huge gamble just to prevent Springer from having to sacrifice himself for the others to escape.
The puppet with multiple eyes ran through the cleared path and caught up to the puppet with multiple arms.
They did not bother looking back toward those who had fallen as they kept running forward.
The moment that Gasser had managed to land and regain his footing on the ground, he began to move forward as well.
It was not that they did not need to look back, but it was that one of them did not need to look back to see everything that was happening around them.
The puppet with the multiple eyes could see everything that was happening around them, so Tiffany could see enough to begin forming a plan on the spot.
