Kotori: Sigh~ I don't understand at all...
After Kotori had collected the hair samples from Kaneki after Natsuki and Yuuka had cut it with her help.
She was in her room studying it, the reason? To find the cause for the weakening of her copied abilities.
Kotori's thoughts*
(I don't understand at all, how is this possible? How is my Demon Knight power weakening?)
Kotori has a similar power to Akatsuki Kirari also known as Demon Knight Grand being able to access and use other Demon Knight powers and abilities.
But the way their powers work completely differently.
(Compared to Kirari-san, my power to copy abilities needs a living Demon Knight or at least an object containing a bit of their power in order to copy their powers and abilities.)
If no other Demon Knight or their weapons aren't nearby she won't be able to copy their abilities.
(So if Kaneki-chan is either dead or far away I for a long period of time I'd lose access to the powers and abilities I copied from him.)
Kotori: But it doesn't makes sense now, Kaneki-chan is still alive but how come the abilities I copied from him are deteriorating? And my attempt to use time manipulation to try and heal him is ineffective.
So many questions are going through Kotori's head and it wasn't just her deteriorating powers.
Kotori: How dangerous us this possible second personality?
She was worried about the danger that Ryueki possibly possesses, because there is a chance that he does have a second personality.
One that could possibly control other people's actions, she was worried about everyone who was currently near him.
Kotori: Tch! Papa is also near him... Yeah no I'm not risking it.
Especially her father and knowing the possibile danger, there was no way she would leave him alone with Ryueki.
Kotori: Time to go. Darkness Travel!

Kotori: Darkness Travel!
Kotori was attempting to use Darkness Travel in order to teleport to the Council's HQ to see her father but—
Kotori: Are you kidding me?!
It was not activating at all.
Kotori: Why isn't it working?!
A few minutes later~
Kotori: Argh! Forget it!
After a few infuriating minutes of trying to use Darkness Travel, Kotori gave up on using Darkness Travel.

Kotori: Man this is such a pain in the a—
Natsuki: Kotori-san? Is there something wrong?
As Kotori was about to leave, She ran into Natsuki who upon seeing her grew a bit concerned.
Kotori: Yes. For one I'm worried about Papa since he's currently Interrogating that guy, and also I can no longer use darkness travel!
Natsuki: W-What? What do you mean you can't use darkness travel?
Kotori: I don't know, the reason why I took Kaneki-chan's hair was because my copied abilities from him are deteriorating and I don't understand why! Anyways I don't have time to chat, I have to go.
Natsuki: O-Okay.
After her short exchange with Natsuki, Kotori walked outside of the house.

She spread her wings as she turned into her demonized form.
Kotori: I'm off!

Kotori: I have to get there quickly!
And she flew as fast as sounds towards the Council's Japan HQ.
5 Minutes later~

Kotori: Finally! I'm here!
She arrived at an abandoned airport at a seemingly deserted island.
Kotori: Alright time to head in.
She approached one of the hangers until she got very close to the door.

What came out of the door were an eye and hand scanner which Kotori immediately used.

As well as a small syringe that took a sample of her blood, and lastly the most important step to enter the base.
Identification of both rank and name within the council.
"Please Identify rank and name"
Kotori: Pillar, Demon Knight Ai.
"Identification confirmed, welcome back Ai-sama."

The ground began to rumble as the entrance to the base began opening with Kotori finishing her identification.
The hannger door opened revealing a large stairway leading underground.
Kotori walked down these stairs until a certain point and then.

The floor beneath her disappeared and she began to fall.

Kotori stayed calm and focused her sight at the endless dark abyss that she was quickly approaching and then.

She closer her eyes for a brief moment and when she opened.
Kotori: I'm here.
She found herself at the lobby of the HQ.
Kotori: Alright time to see Papa.
A few minutes later~
Now that she was in the HQ she navigated through the entire base until she reached the lowest part, the prison layer named Helheim.
???: Kotori-sama? Why brings you here?
Kotori: I'm here to see my father, and also is everyone wearing the bracelets that was provided?
???: Yes, all current personnel that are overseeing him are wearing the bracelets including Atsuo-sama.
Kotori: Is anyone also wearing—
???: There's no need to worry Kotori-sama, everyone including your father are wearing extra protective gear near him so they're safe. Speaking of which, your own extra protective gear is ready.
As Kotori approached solitary confinement where Ryueki was being held, her extra protective gear and bracelet was handed to her.
Kotori: Just a moment I need to inspect it.
After making sure that there was no damages to her gear, Kotori wore the extra protective gear and bracelet and entered the solitary confinement's observation room.
Creak~
Upon entering Kotori immediately noticed the blood stained walls through the one-way mirror and was shocked.
Kotori: Wow Papa, you really really went to work very quickly.
Atsuo: Kotori? What brings you here?
Kotori: Well... I'm just very worried about you and everyone else.
Atsuo: I see, thanks for coming then.

Atsuo: Thanks for worrying about me.
After their short hug, Kotori let go of her father and looked through the one-way mirror and towards Ryueki who currently wasn't moving.
Kotori: Seriously it hasn't even been a day since we've put him in custody and you already made this much of a mess?
Atsuo: Well I did want answers.
Kotori: Sigh~ You could've waited for me y'know?
Though Kotori said this, she was just relieved her father and everyone else was safe.
Kotori: Hm...
Looking through the glass again, Kotori got a bit curious.
Kotori: Hey did you take any of his blood samples?
Atsuo: Yes, one of the researchers took some blood samples earlier and is currently studying it.
Kotori: Good.
Ryueki: Argh....
Atsuo: Oh looks like break time is over.
Hearing Ryueki's groaning both Atsuo and Kotori looked through the glass to see Ryueki waking up again.
Atsuo turned to the other council members assisting him and asked them for certain items.
Atsuo: Get me a glowing Pear of Anguish and surgical tools.
Assistant 1: Roger!
Assistant 2 & 3: We'll prepare them as soon as possible!
The three assistants left the observation room and started gathering the items Atsuo requested.
Kotori: Say Papa, can I join you as well? I probably could be of some help.
Atsuo: No.
Kotori: Okay...
Atsuo: I'm sorry, but I want to personally Interrogate him by myself.
Kotori: I understand.
All 3 Assistants: Atsuo-sama here's the items you requested.
The Assistants returned with the items Atsuo requested.
Atsuo: Well time to get back to work.
Ryueki: Groan~
Atsuo: Oh perfect timing, he's waking up.
With Ryueki waking back up, Atsuo took the items he requested and went inside the solitary confinement with the items and the assistants while Kotori watched in the observation room.
Kotori: Wait isn't that a Pear of Anguish?
Noticing the Pear of Anguish, Kotori grew a bit concerned.
Ryueki: Tch! What do you-
Atsuo: Restrain him, turn his body around and strip him of his clothes.
Following Atsuo's orders, the assistants began ripping off Ryueki's clothing before turning and pinning him on the ground.
Atsuo: Now talk. Who is this person you're hearing in your head? Is this person the one who manipuled my daughter and her friends to hurt my son?
Before doing what he is about to do with Ryueki, Atsuo gave him a chance to talk.
Ryueki: SCREW YOU STUPID MOB CHARACTER!
But Ryueki refused to cooperate.
Kotori's thoughts*
(Looks like he has fully gone crazy.)
Atsuo: In that case, I'll make you talk.
Atsuo took the Pear of Anguish and slowly approached Ryueki.
(Wait the Pear of Anguish is usually put in the mouth, and from the looks of the one Papa is holding it's very hot but why is removing that trash's clothes necessa— Oh...)
Kotori: What's with my family and torturing people's bowels?
Kotori immediately understood what was about to happen.
Ryueki: Hey! What are you doing?!
Atsuo: You ready to talk?
Ryueki: TCH! HOW DARE YOU?! I'M TEH PROTAGO—

Atsuo: Let's put it all in.

Atsuo pushed the Pear of Anguish deeper inside as the sound of screaming and searing flesh filled the room.

And as Atsuo turned the Pear of Anguish, it began widening the hole.
(As much as I hate this guy.)

Kotori: Nope! I am not watching that!
Kotori who was watching in the observation room could not bare watching that disgusting display.
30 Minutes later~
After using the Pear of Anguish, Atsuo took the surgical tools.
Atsuo: I hope you're ready to talk—
Ryueki: YOU SON OF A—.

Atsuo: Wrong answer.
With Ryueki still not cooperating, Atsuo began to modify his body.
A few hours later~
After a few hours, Atsuo had mutilated Ryueki's body while still being alive thanks to the assistants continuously healing him.
He turned his insides out, put certain organs where they shouldn't belong among other more disturbing ways of torturing.
Ryueki: Haa~! Haa~!

After enduring hours of pure torture, Ryueki had fallen unconscious.
Atsuo: Tch!
Atsuo wanted Ryueki to die there, but he knew it would be a waste.
Atsuo: You're not going to die yet, I won't let you.
So he began fixing his body.
A while later~
Atsuo: Good he's fixed. You three please clean this place up, as for the blood please take it to the lab once you're all done cleaning.
All 3 Assistants: We're on it!
With his "Interrogation" done Atsuo left the solitary confinement and back to Kotori.
Atsuo: Let's go home.
Kotori: Alright Papa. Let's get sanitized first.
Atsuo: Sure. I'm sorry I couldn't get anything useful out of him though.
Kotori: It's alright we did our best.
The two then went to sanitize themselves before leaving HQ.
10 Minutes later~
The two were now outside the HQ and Kotori was in her demonized form.
Kotori: Don't move while flying okay?
Atsuo: I won't.
Hug~
Kotori hugged her father from behind and then.
Kotori: Let's go!

She began flying and carrying her father back home and on their way home, they had a talk.
Atsuo: How are those girls and Kaneki doing?
Kotori: Well they have fully reconciled? I'm not too sure myself. As for Kaneki-chan, the usual still unconscious although he did grew out his hair very quickly for some reason.
Atsuo: Wait is it seriously?!
Kotori: No. Nothing wrong just overgrown hair.
Atsuo: Phew~ That's good.
Kotori: Although my abilities have gotten weaker, I can no longer use Darkness travel.
Atsuo: What do you mean? Isn't Kaneki—
Kotori: I don't understand myself, to be honest I'm very worried.
Atsuo: Geez... When will Kaneki wake up?
Kotori: All we can do is pray he does and the world doesn't end by the time he does.
