Kaneki: Mhmm! I hope our usual spot hasn't been discovered by anyone yet, that place is the best spot to watch the fireworks!

After finishing some preparations for the festival on the upcoming day, Kaneki, Miku, Sachi and Shino were walking home while happily chatting.

But as they were half way near their homes a loud swooshing sound came from above them.

Kotori had appeared while letting out a loud screech, scaring Miku in the process.
Sachi: Oh it's Ai-chan!
Shino: Hello Kotori-san.
Miku: Wait how come you two weren't frightened?!
Sachi: Well she is a bit known to be a prankster in her gaming streams you know?
Shino: That's right. Though I haven't watched her in a while I do remember watching her multiplayer horror game streams that she loves to scare anyone when given the chance.
Miku stared them in disbelief as their reason for not getting frightened was unbelievable.
Miku: My friends are freaks... And you! Don't do something like that at night! You could have given me a heart attack!

Kotori: Hehe~ I'm very sorry Miku-chan I couldn't help it.
Kaneki: So what were you up to Onee-chan? I'm pretty sure you went home before us.
Kotori: Well it's actually regarding our festival stall, I need to go buy a lot of stuff mainly ingredients for the food we'll need.
Sachi: Really? We could help you if you want.
Sachi offered to help Kotori out but she flatly rejected her help.
Kotori: No thanks Sachi-chan I want my two younger siblings here to be the ones who help me out.
Kaneki: Oh you want to bond with us by shopping? Sure why not?
Kaneki was very accepting of his sister's wish, although for Miku.
Miku: Me? No way!
She did not want to join her, not after she pulled that prank on her earlier.
Kotori: Please~

Kotori began making a cute begging face similar to a kitten, and seeing such a cute and pitiful sight gave in.
Miku: Sigh~ Fine. I'll help.
Kotori: Yay!
Sachi: Boo~ oh well there's nothing I can do about it anyways, let's continue on our way home, Shino.
Shino: Yeah. See you three tomorrow.
Kaneki, Miku & Kotori; Bye bye~ stay safe.
Sachi and Shino then went on their way back home.

Though it may seemed that Miku disliked watching over her older siblings.

She was actually rather pleased with going out with her siblings.
Miku: Let's go to the mall then, we still 2 hours before the mall closes up.

Before Kaneki could activate darkness travel, Miku placed wrapped her left hand around Kaneki's right hand.

It was an obvious act of teasing and Kaneki didn't know as it wasn't very obvious.

Kotori: We're here!
After Kaneki had used Darkness travel the three Higanbana siblings had appeared in the supermarket part of the Mall.
Their sudden arrival did startled a few people but upon realizing who they were everyone close by went back to their shopping.
Kotori: Okay you two listen up. We'll need to buy a lot of things so grab everything on this list got it?

Kaneki: My tentacles are ready to grab!
Kotori: Miku-chan you hold onto the list and I'll push the shopping cart.
Miku: Okay- wait a minute can we even afford all of these?!
After seeing the list that Kotori gave her, there was an absurd amount of ingredients were needed for their stall.
Kotori: Don't worry I have calculated everything we need and bought enough money on me so we can afford all of it. Worse case scenario Kaneki-chan would need to pinch in.
Kaneki: Fine by me.
Miku: How much money do you two have??? Oh whatever let's get started.
And with that they picked up a shopping cart and began looking for the many ingredients they need for the festival.

Kaneki: Chicken, fish, pork, beef. Man we're going to be cooking a lot of stuff tomorrow.
Kotori: That's right! Unlike the usual stall we'll be serving a whole variety of foods.
Miku: I hope a lot of people buy's from us.
Kaneki: By the way Onee-chan when are you going to make my A la mode? You still haven't made one for me yet.
Miku: You still remember that?
Kaneki: I don't forget anything when it comes to pudding more of if it is also promised to me.
Kotori: Fine then tomorrow before the festival I'll make you Super Deluxe Kotori Ai A la mode.
Kaneki: Yay!
Kotori: It's gonna have so much pudding you'll become pudding.
Miku: What is that even supposed to mean? Onii-chan strawberries.

Kaneki: Got it.
Miku: By the way why were you two called earlier at school anyways? You know by Azusa-san?
Kotori: Oh our cousin was only conveying a message from Great Auntie Yukiya.

Kaneki: Yeah she offered to help train me, since I have new powers and all.
Miku: Ohh~ that makes sense. So did you accepted their offer?
Kaneki: Yup after school this friday.
Miku: Hmm...
Kotori: The council will also be helping Kaneki-chan on that day as well.
After hearing that her brother was going to be trained in two days, Miku couldn't help but offer her own help as well.
Miku: In that case why don't we join in as well?

Miku: You did made us armor's remember, we can use them to help you train.
Kaneki: Hmm... I'm not really okay with it but you'll definitely not stop until I agree to it won't you?

Miku: I can't believe we were both loud.
Both Kaneki and Miku were getting hungry as they haven't eaten dinner yet.
Kotori: I see. You two are hungry huh? Don't worry after we're done shopping for ingredients we'll go eat at a nearby Pizza house.
Kaneki: Pizza?!
Miku: Really?
Kotori: Yeah my treat. Oh and don't worry I already told Papa and Aiya Mama that I'll be treating you two for dinner so they don't need to cook any extra food.
Kaneki: Good. I didn't want Aiya Mama's cooking to be cold when she cooks it for us.
Miku: Yeah she sometimes get upset if we don't eat her food immediately.
Kotori: I see. Well then let's continue getting our ingredients and once we're done we'll go eat out.
Kaneki: Okay!
Motivated by food, Kaneki began grabbing more ingredients faster.
1 hour and 30 minutes later~
Kaneki, Miku & Kotori: Itadakimasu~!
After buying all of the ingredients they needed for the festival, the Higanbana siblings went to eat at a pizza house for dinner.
Kaneki: Man I can't wait for the festival tomorrow, I wonder if I should launch my own firework.
Miku: Nom~ Dwon't twell me ywour- gulp! Don't tell me you're going to to shoot something big out of your mouth tomorrow.
Kaneki: Haha~ now that you mentioned it, it is definitely a bad idea.

Miku was playing with her pizza by stretching the melted cheese.
Kaneki: Don't okay with your food, or your food will play with you.
Miku & Kotori: What?

Miku: You really need a better sense of humor Onii-chan, that makes no sense.
Kotori: Yeah I don't want you finding random numbers funny.

Kotori: No seriously Kaneki-chan, many years ago kids and young teenagers found random numbers funny for absolutely no reason at all.

Miku: It's a thing in the internet, not like you know anything though since you've never used it aside from streaming services.
Kaneki: Wow that actually makes me glad I never exposed myself to the internet.
Kotori: Trust me, the internet is such a chaotic place.
Kaneki: Nom! Anyways to you two want to do something before we go home? I'm feeling a bit bored after our shopping trip.
Miku: Yeah~ after all the things we did, it would be fun to do something.
Kotori: What about squid fishing.

As Miku took a bite out of her pizza slice, the moment Kotori suggested that they go squid fishing she choked a bit.
Kaneki: Miku?!
Miku: Cough!
But luckily she was able to cough out the tiny piece of pizza, and immediately after Kaneki gave her some water to drink.
Kaneki: Here drink.
Miku: Thanks. Gulp~ sorry about that, it was an overreaction haha~ but that suggestion is too much!
Kaneki: Agreed. If we're going fishing why not at the nearby river?
Kotori: That's actually a lot better.
Miku: Seriously? Oh well finishing at night does sound good actually.
With their next stop decided, the Higanbana siblings continued to chat as they ate dinner.
And after they finished eating and paying the bill they went to the nearby river to go fishing.
