When we left the room, the first thing that Haley did was ask the store manager, "Is everything prepared?"
The store manager didn't hesitate as he took out some reports for Haley.
These came out of the suitcase that he had been holding the entire time, which meant that they had already prepared all of this ahead of time.
From the parts that I could see with my sharp eyes, I knew that these were reports that told everything about the companies that those clients represented.
I wasn't able to see all of the details, but the parts that I saw were more than enough to demonstrate something.
These companies weren't really that good.
It seemed like there were many different things that were wrong with these companies, with each of them being responsible for some kind of broken rule. But of course, they did what they had to do to hide all of this.
The companies had enough resources that they could hide all of these wrongdoings.
