No matter where I was assigned, there was nothing that changed.
This was the plan in the first place, so it wasn't as if it was surprising.
The only thing that caught me off guard were the techniques that the clerks selling the items used.
Even though the customers and goods were the same, they used all kinds of different techniques to sell the items to them.
It made me think of something quite interesting.
"So there are different techniques to use even if the items are the same. It seems like people respond differently depending on how they are approached. No, it goes beyond even that."
For two customers, they wouldn't buy the item unless they were shown a sample.
But the tone that the sales clerk used was completely different for the two of them.
One of them used a softer tone that made the customer feel more at ease and let them decide at their own pace.
The other one used a harder tone that made them feel more urgent, as if they were about to lose this deal.
