Holding the orb up, I could feel the connection between me and the whirlpool getting stronger.
It was like there was some kind of thing that was strengthening the connection.
It was just that it didn't seem strong enough for me to send my divine energy into the whirlpool.
"Why is it rejecting me?"
That was the one question that was on my mind as I looked at the whirlpool.
It wasn't as if I wasn't trying to send it my divine energy, it was just that it seemed like there was something that was pushing the divine energy that I sent into the whirlpool away.
The more that I tried, the more that it seemed like it was being pushed away.
Almost as if I was going against some kind of force that was being pushed outwards.
After a while, I narrowed my eyes to look at the whirlpool.
"It's the flow…" I muttered to myself slowly after observing for a while.
