There were no cotton swabs on the balcony, so Ye Weining used her pinky to dig in her ear. She couldn't quite reach it, and it still itched.
"If it itches, that's a good sign. It means your ear has been activated and is responding. That's the treatment working!" Li Tianyi said, with a charming look that always carried a hint of flattery when facing Ye Weining.
This timid demeanor was totally at odds with the president-like suit he wore. He looked like a kid sneaking into an adult's suit, cool when acting impressive, but hilarious when he broke character.
"Ridiculous!" Ye Weining glared at him. "It's normal for ears to itch. Whose doesn't?"
She went to find a cotton swab and wiped it repeatedly, but it still itched.
She could only resort to alcohol; it could disinfect.
