I sighed, a tad exhausted from doing all that, and being in my own home for whatever reason amplified that feeling. Probably because I'm in a place where I feel like I can truly relax.
That, or I'm more tired than I thought.
Either way, I was glad to be home.
*Knock* *Knock*
Someone had clearly heard me, that or they just got luck and knocked right as I got back. "Hmm? Come in."
The door opened and the maid that was initially dusting my study room off poked her head through the gap.
"Umm… Are you… Done? It's getting a bit late and this is the only room left that needs cleaning now." She asked sheepishly.
"Uh, yeah, I'm done now. You can carry on now. Also, when you say it's late, how late do you mean exactly?" I slithered towards her as she began to bring in supplies and cleaning instruments.
"I don't know the exact time right now, but around early evening I'd say." She answered dutifully.
