All of that Life Energy from each of them gathered in one place to produce the dangers that were once there.
The threats were dealt with, but the root of the problem was not.
The only thing that had been lost was the hosts that would gain the gathered Life Energy.
If there were no vessel for the Life Energy, then a new vessel would need to be found.
If a vessel could not be found, then a new one would need to be formed.
The cycle would continue if the root cause remained.
If it were not reduced in any way, then the situation would not change all that much.
The amount of Life Energy would vary at times as it gathered, but the amount of it would not drop by much unless something was done about the cause of it.
It would usually remain the same, and it could even get much larger at times, especially during times when more incidents happened related to that location.
