"Ah… it's unusual for you to come here without informing me first, sir."
Seeing his superior arrive, the mad scientist calmly rose from his seat.
"Welcome," he added with a crooked smile.
The CEO showed no reaction. He simply continued walking, accompanied by the steady taps of his cane against the concrete floor. Beneath his aged features, there was only seriousness.
"Don't mind me, Mr. Alex," Chana replied. "I just happened to pass by this laboratory."
His steps eventually stopped before the scientist.
"How many survived this batch?"
Alex glanced toward the testing area before answering.
"Well... as you can see. It appears direct UF particle injections are still too much for most people to handle."
Out of the twenty volunteers who had entered the facility, only six remained standing.
