"I already told you that she is off limits," Sona said while sitting in front of Rias who seems not to have given up on Aria right now
According to Rias, she thinks Aria possesses an immense potential that she desires, which is why Rias wanted Sona to agree to this
Somehow Rias couldn't help but feel weird seeing how much Sona is the opposite of this and wanna know why Sona is so against it
Rias could understand if Sona wanted Aria for herself but for some reason that isn't the case since Sona herself has no plans to take Aria under her wing
"You know how much I need talented people right now?" Rias said this as she looked at her knowing that Sona is very well aware of the reason why Rias needs potential people in her peerage
"I am very well aware of that and you should be aware that Aria isn't the only one who has great potential in this power" Sona said as she replied to her, sona could understand Rias's obsession with Aria
Considering the fact that Rias needs power for a reason but Sona also reminded her that there isn't only Aria who possesses talent
Sona honestly is doing this for her own good, unfortunately, Rias can't realise that since she dont think such a possibility exists
Because of her brother, she dont really have fear about others' background especially in the human world
Even if Sona told her the truth then there is no way that Rias will believe her or she might even ask more questions about this
Which definitely isn't good for Rias as well as for her and not to mention Sona herself dont really know much about him other than the fact that he is super strong enough to make her big sister say that she will lose in the battle against him very easily
"But I never saw such talent like Aria, and also this whole academy barely has any talents and you know about it" Rias replied to Sona as she refuted her, since talents aren't sold at the market which she could go to at will
Her territory is this academy and there isn't any worthy candidate other than Aria in this academy right now which is the sole reason she is so obsessed with Aria right now
And moreover, even if Rias goes outside to find a talented candidate even that is very hard since she can't just go and find it instantly.
Finding talent is very rare especially in human big population and even if she finds one then Rias is sure they won't be as talented as Aria
"Calm down, here drink some tea" Akeno said in her usual tone as she put down a tray with tea and snacks as she wanted both of them to calm down.
She knows she has no place to take sides right now as she is just a member of the peerage but at least she should do this to calm them both down right now
She dont really want them to have a fight just because of this as she knows how good friends they are and not to mention it will be really worse for Rias to lose Sona as an friend at this moment
To be honest Akeno dont really know the reason why Sona is really against Rias taking in Aria but from her perspective, she thinks there definitely must be a reason for this
Otherwise, there is no way Sona will be so against this but Akeno also can see the fact that Rias isn't backing down at all
But she also realised that unless Sona tells Rias the real reason, Akeno can hardly imagine Rias giving up on Aria
After tea was placed in front of them both of them took it, and Sona started to drink since there was finally some peace from this conversation thinking about what she could do right now to make Rias lose interest
She knows that if this matter didnt get resolved then surely Rias without a shred of doubt will try to approach Aria when she is absent, which is not acceptable
She knows how much Shy Aria is and if something happens while she is away then worse possibilities might happen
For example, there are jinwoo shadows in Aria, and Sona could only imagine that those dangerous shadow soldiers might gonna come out and eliminate the threat
She herself knows how dangerous they are and knows that if they happen, then there is no way that anyone is strong enough to handle them at all other than Jinwoo who isn't here
Even though this is just a possibility in her mind still she can't afford to test this out since if this comes true then Rias without a doubt would lose her life
'I dont know if this will make him sad or not but at least telling the truth is the only option left' Sona said this as she knows only telling her truth will calm her down
Thats the only option which she has left as she knows making any useless excuses or just plainly refusing without giving an explanation at all won't work now
The only worry is what jinwoo will think, even though she doesn't think he will be mad since she now realises the type of person who lets emotions take care of him nor is his nature violent but she knows it's going to make him upset
'I am sorry but I have no choice' Sona inwardly apologises for this in her mind, as this is an apology to Jinwoo as she is about to tell her truth, but she will make sure to hide his details as much as possible
sigh
"There is an Aria guardian whom you can never mess with let alone try to take her under your peerage" Sona said this as she stared straight at Rias who is sitting across from her
