Su Chenxing had taken a bath and put on a set of comfortable clothes, grabbing her phone from the bedside table she made her way to the kitchen. Stretching her tired limbs she reached for the fridge, opening it she froze, her face contorting to that of disgust and annoyance.
"Su Nianzhen" she growled in a low voice and just then her phone began to ring, she looked at the caller ID then a devilish smile appeared on her face.
"Speak of the devil" she said as she answered the call, her brother's voice coming through "Chenxing, I believe you've gotten home, how was your day??" Nianzhen asked in a sing song voice unaware of her anger.
"Xiao Nian" Chenxing said in a slow haunting voice. Nianzhen froze, beads of sweat appearing on his forehead.
"W...w... what's wrong, what's with that tone?" Su Nianzhen said.
"I don't know, can you explain to me why my food supply is nothing but greens, do I like like a ruminant animal to you, hm?".
"I'm sorry, I know you asked me to take care of your food, it seems the workers misunderstood, I told them to get you healthy food and not the usual you stuffed your stomach with, I swear I want what's best for you" Su Nianzhen hurriedly said.
"Hm it seems you don't like your current pay...or position Xiao Nian".
"I swear I'll get everything fixed by tomorrow, I'm your brother for Christ's sake, be more nice." Su Nianzhen whinned feeling wronged.
"toot toot toot...".The line went dead. "Tsk, it wasn't even my fault". Su Nianzhen grumbled as he called those responsible to scold them.
Sighing, Su Chenxing grabbed her wallet and a hoodie and went out to a store about 20 minutes away, there was no way she was eating those things in her fridge.
Su Chenxing walked into the stores immediately locating the food she'd like to eat that evening, buying some drinks along and sweets".
She took everything to the counter, the sales attendant looked at her, seeing a new face she created her politely. The lady looked to be in her mid 30's. "New around here kiddo?, nice to see new faces" she said packing up the goods Su Chenxing had paid for.
"It's pretty late for a little girl like you, these parts aren't really safe, little advice, if you see anything suspicious, act like you didn't, gangs run these parts, wouldn't want you getting in trouble".
Su Chenxing grabbed one of the sweets, peeling the wrapper off, she pooped it into her mouth. She grabbed her bags of the counter and gave the lady a polite smile "sure I'll keep that in mind".She said as she left the store.
"Unsafe? Not a problem".

Su Chenxing hadn't walked long when suddenly, faint voices caught her attention from a dark alley beside the sidewalk.
It was dark and it piqued her interest what was going on inside so she silently walked in, leaving her stuff at the entrance.
The alley was very dimly lit, occupied with dumpsters which hid most of her body, making her presence unknown to the people in it.
Five men surrounded two girls who appeared to be tied up on the ground, mouths covered with tape, the voices of the men harassing and menacing.
"You could have made great additions to our collection too bad we have to sell em", one of them said with a crooked and lust filled smile on his face as he touched their faces with his scrawny hands.
"You sure we can't just have some fun with them boss?". Another one said as he licked his lips at the idea of having a good time.
"No you can't, the goods have to remain untouched, besides the pickup van will be here soon, after we get paid you can go to a brothel, you bastards".
"Whee, so boring and uptight as always, and proud cause you're part of a big gang? Tch" the man who'd been touching the faces of the girl earlier spoke.
"Well since we can't have fun with them doesn't mean we can't explore right?. A win is a win ". The man said with an evil chuckle and his accomplices laughed.
He reached for the girls attempting to touch them inappropriately, the girls struggled and tried to get away from him as he reached for the one who appeared to be older.
Not wanting to be humiliated than she already was, she gathered up all the strength she could muster and banged her head against his.
Suddenly blinded by the pain he let out a shout and immediately became provoked.
"Stupid bitch" he said landing a slap across her face. Her sister began to make muffled sounds trying to tell him to leave alone but he hit her as well.
He pulled on the girls shirt immediately ripping, exposing her neckline and shoulder, this fueling his will to have his way.
But the other sister struggled throwing herself on her sibling shielding her.
He grabbed unto her hair, forcing her to face him, tears welling in her eyes from the pain in her scalp.
"You two are both worthless bitches, of you want your worthless lives to be easy, better comply". The man said in a perverted voice.
"My my, what a show I've stumbled on". the men turning to look at the source of the voice.
Su Chenxing was now seated on top one of the dumpsters, smiling with a lollipop in between her lips, without an ounce of fear.
The leader looked at the nonchalant girl as an ominous feeling settled in. Why wasn't the girl terrified and just casually sitting there when faced with a situation such as this?.
Either way it was better to get her out of there so as not to complicate the operation, mistakes were unacceptable.
"You better run along now little girl and not get into trouble, you have no business here,
you will act like you didn't See anything here and not speak a word about it else we'll hunt you down" the leader spoke with threat laced in his voice.
Su Chenxing didn't bother looking at the leader, instead she tilted her head Sideways to get a better view of the two girls, both battered and bruised, looking extremely malnourished.
Her eyes dimmed and returned back to normal just as quickly.
"Hm some very shady deed seems to be going on here I'd say..."Su Chenxing said in a clear sing sing voice.
"Didn't you hear what I just said?. It's either you leave or you join them". The leader said trying to convince her to leave, he had a serious nagging feeling at the back of his mind that everything could go completely wrong.
"Hm let me think about it.."Su Chenxing drawled slowly, placing a finger on her chin appearing to be seriously thinking about his request.
'What was there to f*ckin consider, didn't she value her life??'
Then she stared into the leader's eyes "no, I don't think I will", she said smiling, savoring the taste of the lollipop lodged in her mouth."If I have to leave, those two angels over there would have to come with me" Su Chenxing said defiantly.
The leader already angry, marched towards Su Chenxing with hurried steps, attempting to grab her, but on reaching her he caught air, his face and that of his accomplices filled with unbelief.
Her figure disappeared like a phantom and something finally dawned on him, what if he's encountered those type of people, he looked around trying to find her figure.
"Hello there" they all turned in the direction of the familiar voice.
Su Chenxing was now in a squatting position in front of the two girls beside the man who had previously been harassing the two girls.
The man landed on his buttocks and immediately crawled backwards to get away from her, his eyes wide and filled with fear at what he'd just witnessed."Bloody f*CK" he screamed internally.
"I'm here to save you, you don't have to be scared anymore, okay" Su Chenxing smiled kindly at them, trying to reassure them she wasn't a bad person, well not to them.
The girls had a look of confusion on their faces, the girl in front of them looked no less than their age, which was very very young, regardless of the stunt earlier, it didn't change the fact their kidnappers appeared stronger and there were five of them.
Then who needed rescuing began to worry for her safety.
Then again the looked at how she was brimming with confidence the sparkle they've never seen a person's eyes. Gulping the two girls gave a little nod, hope appearing in their eyes after a very long long time.
"Good, so let's get this over with" Su Chenxing said, placing her hands on her knees, she stood up no longer squatting as she turned to face the men.
Seeing Su Chenxing stand the men suddenly returned back to their senses as they took a defensive stance. They took glances at each other then finally at the leader wondering if this was going to end well.
Spitting the stick of her now finished sweet, her face contorting into a wide smile and crazed eyes almost appearing psychotic
"so tell me how would you like to get defeated?".
