Grey felt like he was floating in an empty black river before everything turned golden. His memories flashing by. He could see glimpses of times that changed him in the past like after he saw his brother being bullied by some crows so later that night, he ambushed them with rocks and ropes from the tree line and another one where he watched a rabbit be mauled to death by otters by a river "am I dead?"
Out from beyond the empty golden space came a deep but soft voice echoing "you have so much anger for something so small, interesting you seem perfect for what I need and your memories prove your loyalty and stubbornness very good… Damm is that your moms human form! * Cough cough* very promising you are the one I choose Do you desire more power young rabbit just know it comes at a cost, eternal servitude the specifics can be worked out later. Do you accept."
Grey felt like he was floating in darkness before two giant golden eyes stared him illuminating everything with its golden hue all while trying to grant him power. " Why me, there are plenty others far more worthy and in need of your power help them instead."
The deep but soft voice echoed around grey again. "That is correct, there is someone who matches a few criteria's that you also so happen to fit…"
"And before you ask I will explain the basics since your mortal body is low on time. First I need a newly awakened beast with high potential and loyalty. Second, I need one with a versatile or supportive ability. And finally, I need them to be unconscious to speak to them, thus fate has led me to you young rabbit."
Grey just listened almost absentmindedly "this energy are you a Demi god beast. If so, how could someone so weak be useful to you?"
A loud chuckle reverberated throughout the golden space "because your rage at your own weakness will push to heights close enough to help me one day and like I said I need a Newly awakened beast. I can give a weapon that suits you best and a short power boost."
"But that power boost will leave paralyzed for a night and back to a lower awakened beast, level one in rabbit terms. You'll be stuck at that level for one moon cycle or 30 nights before your body starts to rapidly advance."
"DO YOU ACCEPT."
Grey felt irritated at not getting a direct answer "TCH, fine but what do I get out of this deal. Like you said I have potential even without your help I could probably make it there one day."
"That the spirit young one, don't you worry I have been through your memories and seen what you need and will need in the future."
" I'll give you two things the first is as much knowledge on your thunder rune that you can handle to better understand it and the second is to allow your people to relocate to the hills of endless mist, my home and stay there under my protection what do you say."
Grey pondered on the pros and cons before seeming realizing something "Also stay away from my mom! I heard what you first said while you were probably looking through my memories and we have a deal!"
Grey stated in a firm but resolute voice
The golden space shook before changing between gold and pink for a few seconds.
After a while everything seemed to be normal again.
"Fine I Ted the guardian of endless mist hills agree with these terms!"
"After your power boost head to the north for 25 nights and reach the misty hills, I will sense when you arrive. Also enjoy your new weapon it is called a Chakram very similar to your boomerangs."
"NOW WAKE UP!"
*gasp* grey seemingly woke up after dying for a few seconds desperately taking in lungful's of air as if out of breath.
He looked around a saw scarlet dragging off their scrappy leader by a broken leg his body was bruised and mangled, many were retreating along with them. But five stayed behind eyeing him like a rabbit stew.
Before an oh shit thought could form in his mind his body was enveloped in a golden aura strengthening him while also healing him fully.
As he was enjoying this powerful feeling sand started falling from his head for some reason. All the sand fell to the ground slowly forming a golden disc of some kind.
" hmm… oh is this that chakram thing nice so all that was real?" Grey sounded astonished
He looked around at the five foxes before a viscous grin appeared on his face while his ears that were still flopped down became more erect from the greys newfound power.
For split second all five foxes felt fear down to their cores at small grey rabbit that was nearly dead earlier.
Out of the five only two were awakened
"This will be too easy" grey said as he disappeared leaving behind a cloud of smoke.
A sudden *spurt* sounded behind them as they looked back one of the non-awakened foxes was beheaded covering the grey rabbit in red.
"Ahhh i can see sounds, feel the very quakes beneath me. I see I understand it now. It all makes sense now to cause a commotion, so things need to be put into motion." Grey said looking a little power high.
He could feel every movement nearby including the energy reverberating inside himself pumping him up but slowly running out of juice
" Let's end this time for you to be hunted by your meals." Grey said with a sadistic face.
Grey was hopping around with such great speed only the awakened beast could keep up with him and with his golden disc like weapon he could cut them and block their claws.
The two awakened foxes pounced together towards the rabbit while he used his new speed and smaller frame to slide under them, but before he could attack any of them a loud. "NOOOOO" echoed throughout the tunnels with a black wave of energy soon after.
The black wave sent grey flying "Damm what is it this time." He looked back only to see Joe standing there crying as black tentacles grotesquely emerged from his back like liquid leeches.
There were a total of four leeches growing from each one had something orange in it's mouth but the last one was eating a rabbit's corpse.
"LEAVE ME FOUL DEMON, this is not what we agreed upon leave my kin out of this."
The leeches just started grinning and spoke in a echoing rough voice "we agreed to blood and destruction and that's what we will have."
Abruptly all the leeches looked to where grey and the foxes where at with a dreadful smile.
Joe saw this and was shocked "Run lad I can't control this demon.
