During this time, he repeat the process continually, "not by force or strength, but by the spirit". It continue like this for a long time until it becomes a reflex action from him, sometimes he gain a brief connection with the inner spirit which allows his hand to pass through the barrier but it always last for a short period and he will be blocked out again by the barrier. After every disconnection, he relax to clear his mind and repeat the process, gradually his connection with the inner spirit becomes stronger and the timeframe in which he could maintain the connection got longer. Time continue to pass by without Nicos realizing the time or not caring about the time he has spent in the cave.
Back at the place they reside in the Forgotten Region, Alfonso walked toward the back of the building to a Pergola where Chloe is sitting, she sits alone at the Pergola. It comes as a surprise that there's a Pergola with the building, it seems there are some people who try to make peace with their situation and live their life with a peaceful mind. Chloe take this place as where she comes to have peace and relax.
"It's been seven days since Nicos has left for the forest and didn't return, everyone I asked said they haven't seen him return since the time he went into the forest. Nakita and I are only waiting for your permission to enter the forest to look for him, Tabitha and Barnabas are already feeling agitated but they can't disobey your instruction which is the reason they haven't rushed into the forest to look for him." Alfonso said as he stands a little distance away from Chloe "Nicos has never spend this much time outside before and it making everyone have various scary thoughts. What if something happened to him or he did something to himself? You know how Nicos has been so withdrawn ever since that incident." "You don't have to worry yourself Alfonso, Nicos is fine." Chloe replied.
"how can you be so sure, mother?" Tabitha said running to Chloe's side looking worried, "for all we know, that guilt-ridden bloke head might do something foolish to himself. Let's go look for him, Uncle Alfonso and Uncle Nakita will be going with us so nothing will happen, Uncle Nakita also know the forest very well so it will be easy finding him" Tabitha persuaded. "But Nakita was not able to find him when he went looking for him. Right Nakita?" Chloe said.
"How did you know I went looking for him?" Nakita looked surprised. He has went to the forest looking for Nicos without letting anyone know, He knows the other will only look for him after getting the go ahead from Chloe, which is why he put it upon himself to go look for him. Alfonso and Tabitha but turned back at Nakita in astonishment. "Uncle Nakita, but you said you are waiting for mother's permission before going to look for brother." Barnabas said, looking at Nakita in disbelief. Nakita just smile and avert his eyes as he has been found red handed. Even if Chloe only guessed he went to look for Nicos, he has played into her hand by confirming he went looking for him.
"Don't worry, I'm not blaming you, but you don't have to worry as he is fine and will be back very soon" Chloe said looking up at the sky covered in dark cloud. She said to herself "he hasn't even start his mission, how will he stop living before then, don't look down on him, my son is more resilient than you all think and he will soon surprise you all with how he will turn things around – even in this Forgotten Region".
While all this was going on, Nicos the person in question is still in the cave trying to break-through the barrier into the special space, he seems detached from the world has his inner spirit is now showing more presence as time goes by and the connection remains for a longer period. "I'm almost there" he said to himself while trying to remain calm and maintain a clear mind. All the time he spent in meditation start to pay off this time as he was able to maintain a tranquil mind without having too much disturbing thoughts. He continue to press forward steadily without any resistance from the barrier and with one final step, he finally enter the special space.
"Yes! I –" Nicos statement is cutoff as he opens his mouth and his jaw almost breaking free what is present before him, What he was seeing outside the barrier was like a mere parlor tricks compare to what is before him. The supposed pond is actually a flowing stream of water with different vegetation filled with Spirit Essence and Spirit Beast in the special space. The Space is brimming with Spiritual Essence that comparing it with the Spirit Essence in Silversky will be like comparing an Ocean with a glass cup of water. There are so many spirit flowers, herbs, trees everywhere – the kind you won't find in the human world even after the outbreak of the Spirit Essence since 3,000 years ago. It feels like Nicos has enter the Spirit Realm with his physical body. Ecstatically, Nicos look around him and marvel at the beauty of the special space, it is brimming with life in abundant compare to the Forgotten Region and makes it look like a misplacement finding this kind of space in a place as dead as the Forgotten region. He tries imagining what it will be like if this special space merge with the Forgotten Region and quickly discard the thought from his mind.
