"I want to say that we need to save them but I believe that if we need to use them for a grand purpose we can.
I hate to say that I would be hated for saying that stuff but I believe that if one of them needs to die to allow us to survive I hope that one of them will willing die for us. This is close to what I said earlier correct?"
The little girl smiled and nodded in agreement. Deathholder just stayed still and thought of what to say next.
The crowd had the tension of the arena. They were all wondering what Deathholder would say next.
"We can release two prisoners either first or last. There are only two that can be trusted if either one of them live. The others cannot be trusted.
If you want to release the ones who cannot be trusted first then you must be the one to keep them under control. If you want to keep the other two here you can. I believe in our past trust." Deathholder spoke.
"Hoorah for releasing the prisoners!" The little girl cheered.
She good mood seemed to affect the arena as well. Deathholder was not done yet.
"Let me say this though, if the prisoners cannot keep back what you want. I will ask that one of the gods be used to protect us.
I know that I am being a spoilsport. Let me remind you. Not everyone else would have agreed with me at first or now.
I know it is wrong to believe that everyone else would have said the same thing in just went into the prisoners' cells. I have put most of them in here. I know what most of them can do and will do without a second guess.
I am glad to have such a place to where people fight and train to be able to be close to their level but the killing intent they hold is different from the children we have raised.
Remember, even if they succeed, no matter what happens they have to be kept in check." Deathholder spoke in different tones of sadness, happiness, and strictness.
The little girl was shocked to hear the words spoken by Deathholder. It is not that she did not know who these people were or their connections.
She was genuinely surprised at the fact that Deathholder could genuinely speak the truth about not only the prisoners but the people in the arena as well.
Although it is mostly forbidden to kill people in the arena. There are always some attacks that accidentally kill others and when someone is already weakened and one attack seems to hit the right spot and the person dies.
People are arrested and through into different cells. Some are actually put in just holding cells to ensure that the investigation goes in the way of accidental death vs a killing blow.
What would happen to people that were already known killers and released back into public? More unnecessary deaths and people trying their hardest to kill when they cannot.
Unlike the Mortal Realms where death is more widely accepted because people have to fight over treasures. In the Heavenly Realms, there are not many treasures that are sought out.
Not because they are hard to find or unworthy of being found. It is because no one truly goes out to look for them. The people do not need to look for treasures to advance to the highest level of the Heavenly Realm just some good luck.
When people kill for just the fun of it in the Heavenly Realm. Only a select few people could do it in the Heavenly Realms and most of them are now either dead or dying.
"I am glad that you have lived a long life. I will ensure that you will live to see the birth of a new god and allow you to ascend one god or goddess here from the Fifth Heavenly Realm before dying yourself." The little girl spoke.
As if invisible chains locked unto Deathholder, they kept him alive to see the rise of Rex to godhood and whoever he chose to succeed after Rex ascends.
"Let us go down and release the prisoners." Deathholder spoke.
The arena split open from the center and another platform was under it. A staircase appeared from the blackened platform.
"Follow me my son, little girl, and jailers." Deathholder spoke as he went first.
Deathholder's son followed along with Deathholder's butler, then the little girl followed and lastly twenty jailers followed.
A pitch black walk path was all that could be seen. If any light could have been seen in there, thousands of torched along both sides of the staircase could be seen and the staircase would go on for a long while.
Deathholder stepped and realized that he was now where the prisoners were being held. He stopped everyone else and continued forward to see the prisoners first.
Torches lit up as it became meal time and meals were delivered by artificial life. The little girl smiled as she had gotten this from Earth in the future and gave them specific goals to feed and wash prisoners here.
Once the meals were finished, three maid looking artificial life blinked. Random spins from the cells lit up.
Two women and one guy had their cells unlocked. It was upsetting for the women to be bathed with a guy but they had already long past forgotten what the embarrassing moments should have been.
They were stripped naked and their clothes burned. Their butts slapped to more forward toward the bath.
Even the jailer felt saddened that prisoners were treated like this. When the trio saw Deathholder they tried to attack him.
"Listen here you dirty fools, you are being cleansed and put into better clothes. You should have rotten in here until the end of time. Someone has a deal to ensure that each of you can and will get a chance out of here." Deathholder spoke.
The maids pulled the ears of the prisoners to where the bath was. Their ice cube bath started and their screams as the maids scrubbed them hurt everyone in there.
