The appointed time for the boss fight came without much happening. This is the first boss that Rifat will be facing and if anything goes wrong, the chances of them dying in real life will increase by a lot. So, everyone is a bit nervous.
Seeing their nervousness, Rifat first encouraged them with his words before reminding them not to do anything rush and follow the battle plan strictly.
As they went inside the boss room, a big monster came into their view along with some smaller monster standing like a guard around that big monster.
The big monster is the boss of this floor and is known as 'Illfang the Kobold Lord'. It has four hp bars and has Ruin Kobold sentinel minions that supported it in battle. The boss uses a large bone axe and leather shield to attack. Behind its waist, it carries a nodachi weapon.
'Everything has already been discussed with others except for the nodachi part since this wasn't present in the beta test. But there should be no problem since the party which I am in charge of is the one who is responsible for attack. As long as everyone maintains the formations and don't do anything rush, it should be ok.' Rifat thought as he ordered everyone to go into their position and attack.
The Kobold lord has three minions with him for now. But every time one of the hp bar of Kobold lord is depleted, additional three minions would pop up again. So to avoid any casualty in the group who is responsible for dealing with the minions, Rifat controlled the timing to not to deplete the hp bar too fast and make number of minions too much to deal with.
*clang* *clang*

*clang* *clang*
With constant efforts of Rifat and the others, the boss's heath bar was finally depleted to just one. The minions have also been death with without causing any kind of casualty among the players.
But there were still many players whose health bar have been reduced to the red zone. So, they already left the battlefield in order to not cause any unnecessary death.
'It looks like everything has been going well.'
"Everyone, the boss doesn't have much health left. So, keep calm and try to sped up your attack and make its health drop to the red zone. Since we don't know whether boss's attack pattern will remain the same as it was in the beta, team two should always keep an eye on the boss and quickly get out of the way and switch with me if some attack is impossible to tank.
While giving his instructions, Rifat began to take some potions to get himself to get to the full health again in order to use his self sacrifice skill. When the boss's health bar is dropped to 30%, it will take out its nodachi.
The most dangerous part of the kobold lord at this point is his combo using the katana. Because of it's speed, it is too fast for a player to tank it in a group while switching with one another. On the other hand, if a single player decides to tank it alone, he or she will surely die if the health bar isn't full and even if it is, it will be dropped to the red zone and the chances of that player dying is very high.
'With my reaction speed, I should be able to get out of the attack range and switch with Kirito and others. Since I will be using my self sacrifice skill, the boss's hp should drop way below 5% and there should not be any problem of killing it before the cooldown period of the boss's combo ends.
Rifat waited in the side looking for the boss's hp bar. Just as it reached 30%, Rifat quickly switched with the player that was tanking the boss and took it's four combos head on.
Rifat gritted his teeth as he looked at his heath bar depleting to yellow than red before finally the combos stopped and Rifat switched with Kirito.
'I am already out of potion. So, it would be too risky to join the battle with my red bar. Let's wait for a while' So Rifat waited for the boss's hp to deplete to 1% before he switched with the other player and dealt the last killing blow to the boss.

As soon as the boss died, a loud announcement was heard throughout the first floor. Every player who wasn't involved in the boss fight was totally astonished at the fact that someone not only found the boss room but defeated it as well when most of the players have yet to reach the minimum level needed to challenge the boss.
Even the beta testers were dumbstruck as they never imagined someone could clear the floor boss this quickly.
After everyone managed to grasp the information present in the announcement, most of the players became happy as they started to cheer loudly. Finally after a month long despair, they have started to see some hope. Hope to be able defeat this death game and get out of here alive.
They started to praise Rifat and his team and a idea of wanting to join the team started to grow in their heart. But not everyone was happy such as Kibaou and his gang.
Kibaou has a strong dislike for the beta testers. Now seeing some beta testers clearing the floor boss, he instantly thought of them as a villain instead of heroes who gave everyone a hope to get out of this death game.
"I knew the beta testers weren't good and they never cared about us normal people. Now look at this! That bastard Rifat decided to raid the boss alone without informing us just so he can get all the loots of the boss." Kibaou started shouting to the people around him.
Even though most of the people ignored him, some did listen to him as the hate for the beta testers started to grow in their heart. Noticing this, Kibaou didn't stop stop his hate preaching and started to use more and more harsh words to defame Rifat and others that are involved with him.
'I am going to make you regret it Rifat. Who cares if you used to be a rich second generation. it's not like we are in real life where you used to have so much power. In real life, I had no choice but to succumb but now that I have a chance, I will let you know what it fills to live in despair.'
Kibaou started to laugh maniacally as he started to think of starting a true crusade against Rifat and his supporters.
Even though Kibaou has nothing personal against him, he has a habit of disliking someone without any solid reason. Even in real life, he would always hate those people who used to do better in life than him. Now that he has a chance to vent his anger in Rifat, he isn't going to let it go.
[A/N: Sorry for this irregular schedule. My classes have started a week ago and I was having a little trouble writing a chapter in the scheduled days. So, I decided to change the previous release days to Sunday, Thursday and Friday. The time will remain the same as the past at 10 P.M.(UTC+6).
