A piercing howl echoed across he city.
"What the fuck was that?!"
Landur jumped as his gaze jumped from side to side.
"Came from further in the city."
Jayce commented as his gaze turned towards the east.
BOOM!
"ROOARRR!!"
Explosions blasted across the eastern side of the city, attracting the attention of everyone.
Gwen didn't take long to scale up a nearby building, allowing her to get a clearer view of the source of the commotion.
Destruction.
Ruins covered the land more so than before, with buildings and towers collapsing in real time, kicking up dust clouds high into the sky and shaking the entire world within the rift.
Her eyes followed the path of destruction but there was simply too much rubble and wreckage in the way for her to get a clear view.
Only the sounds of what appears to be a battle could be occasionally heard along with the roars of beasts.
