"Understood," the blond man said solemnly.
Suddenly, his phone vibrated.
The blond man picked it up and glanced at it, showing a clear expression of surprise.
"What's wrong?" Gilbert asked, noticing his unusual expression.
"It's nothing important," the blond man replied, putting down the phone.
Gilbert didn't ask further and continued the previous topic: "If there are students whom you think have performed well in the competition, make a list for me. I'll see who is best suited to join the Guardian Class."
The blond man did not respond immediately and instead looked at him with a slightly reproachful gaze.
"What kind of look is that?" Gilbert frowned.
The blond man quickly restrained his gaze but couldn't help saying, "Dean, recruiting new students is still very important. Sometimes your standards for recruiting new students are too rigid. Occasionally, students with high talent can completely compensate for everything."
Gilbert frowned again: "Why suddenly bring this up?"
