Bai Shu wasn't confident that his "Double Golden Divine Domain" could suppress Qinglong. As for the "Triple Divine Domain," his ultimate hidden move, it might be able to injure Qinglong... but as the caster, the price he would bear was also significant. If his ultimate move was easily withstood by Qinglong, he would likely lose his last home-field advantage.
This was also the reason why Lin Lei and Qinglong merely tested each other, stopping at a point.
Besides the "Great Cold Sword Qi," Lin Lei had her own hidden killer move... but she wasn't sure if it would work.
Qinglong was also content to stop here.
