Grabbing Mei Fu's wrist again, Motan followed the two guards he gestured to lead the way, heading into the deeper layers. Several seconds later, he added, "If there are any... familiar faces here, you can point them out, but don't waste any more time."
"Hmm..."
Mei Fu, suddenly meek, stopped her hysterical behavior and quietly put away the two menacing Cannibal Flowers, obediently following Motan, murmuring softly, "Thank you."
"The honor of helping a beautiful lady solve difficulties is mine..."
Motan chuckled, then changed his tone: "Though I'd like to say that, I'd prefer if you expressed your gratitude through action."
Mei Fu said nothing more, just nodded obediently.
A minute later, Motan found the Orc from earlier, who like the others, had lost consciousness, in an awkward pose on the ground.
"Hmm, very thoughtful."
