*Back to the present, in Luna's POV*
"So you did meet her when you were younger.. Wait, she was the reason you're in the Academy?!" - Luna asked, shocked.
"Exactly. And seeing her in this state just.. It's unbelievable." - Fyriana replied.
"I was the principal already when we took the siblings in. I hadn't imagined she had changed, nor her whereabouts until they told me the description of the person who took them in." - Nicholas turned to Luna and Harley.
"....." - Harley didn't know what to say, but her expression said everything. Hatred and frustration was written all over her.
"Luna, you should rest. You took a lot of damage from the attack earlier." - Nicholas turned to his daughter. Pandora walked closer to everyone, the sun had set so she wouldn't get burnt when outside.
"In a minute.. I want to go to the cemetery first." - Luna covered her left eye with her hair, ignoring the lingering pain that was left from using corruption against BlackOut in the attack.
Pandora glanced at Luna and said: "Don't be there too long."
Luna nodded and turned to a bat, flying towards the cemetery, near the small town within the carrier. The atmosphere was gloomy, as you would expect, especially since night time was approaching. She turned back to normal and sat down in front of Aaron's tombstone. He had been buried shortly after the attack happened.
Luna looked at the tombstone, almost as if she was examining it, and made a spell to make a bouquet of flowers appear in her hands. Her expression didn't show much emotion, but deep down, she was trying her best not to cry.
She placed the flowers on top of the tombstone and said: "Aaron, if you can hear me, I'm sorry we couldn't have saved you in time.." - Her voice was trembling - "We heard your last warning, and I had a feeling it was too late.. I.. I wish I could see you again, damn it! Why did this have to happen?!"
She placed her forehead against her knee while tears started rolling down her cheeks. The pain in her eye almost felt numb from how much his death had impacted her, until..
*Meanwhile, in Heaven*
"That would be against the rules, you can't ask me to do something so reckless-!" - A male voice was heard.
"It's a situation of life or death, please, Jason, you have to help me!" - Aaron spoke.
"Aaron, what could be so important that you have to come back to Earth? You're my younger brother, my responsibility both as a sibling and as guardian of the gates to Heaven, explain." - Jason replied.
Jason Lycan, brother of Aaron Lycan, died from the massacre BlackOut caused. He had an enormous grudge against that woman, and a strong sense of justice.
"....It's about BlackOut.. She killed me. And I want to stop her." - Aaron told him what she had done.
Jason looked at Aaron in shock, and didn't know how to react for a few moments. He regained his composure and said: "Redsity Academy, huh? If you need backup, I will be informed. I'll let you go down there, but only for 6 hours everyday. An angel can only do so much on Earth.. Once you manage to stop her, you will stay here permanently."
Aaron smiled and hugged his brother tightly. Jason smiled softly and opened the gate to let him out, which created a portal to Earth, specifically Redsity Academy.
*In Redsity Academy*
"...Luna, don't cry, please-" - She heard a voice behind her, a few meters away from her.
She jolted, in confusion. Luna could have swore that she had heard Aaron's voice. She quickly turned around, seeing Aaron. She couldn't believe her eyes, she rubbed them and then looked up at him again, saying: "Pinch me so I know I'm not dreaming- I need to know you're really here.."
Aaron helped her up and kissed her lips gently, afterwards pinched her arm. She was surprised and then hugged him tightly, saying: "AARON, OH MY GOD! Wait- You're back?! Why?! I'm so happy, I can't think straight-"
Everyone who was gathered at the entrance of the academy walked closer to the cemetery and Nicholas then said: "Aaron. Good to know you're back. I suppose you're on a mission for you to be back on Earth however."
Aaron smiled at Luna and as she let go, he turned to Nicholas and chuckled to himself: "Haven't changed a bit, Nick.. Yeah, you're right. I want to help in the matter of stopping BlackOut.. She is a danger to everyone."
"We will need to do extensive training for it, but there's not much time. Who knows what that unhinged woman is plotting next? She is capable of doing anything." - Pandora admitted.
"That won't be a problem for me. I can train here and in Heaven." - Aaron informed.
"And Nicholas will train Luna and Harley, while I deal with Fyriana's powers." -Pandora planned.
Fyriana glanced at Pandora, while she (Pandora) used telepathy to talk to Fyriana: "I know about your problems. I can help you, and if anything happens, I'm sure you trust me and Lynx to stop any crisis, right?"
Fyriana nodded, now embarrassed.
"But for now, everyone should rest, and I feel like Aaron and Luna have a lot to catch up with each other, so we will see everyone tomorrow." - Nicholas dismissed everyone, going back to the principal's office with Pandora while everyone else went to their dorms.
Luna went inside her room with Aaron and turned to him, asking: "So.. We need to come up with a plan, right? Got any ideas?"
"Nope.. I mean, do you know any of her weaknesses?"
Luna suddenly smiled as an idea had lightened up her mind. She then pulled Aaron to the principal's office. She then opened the door, making Nicholas look up from the papers he was going through.
"Dad, I have a question!" - Luna affirmed.
"I might have an answer, depends."
"Do you happen to know any of BlackOut's weaknesses?"
"..Maybe.. But the boy died decades ago." - Nicholas looked up at Luna.
"What's his name? Maybe I could arrange something." - Aaron asked, looking at the principal hesitant, yet determined.
He sighed and stood up from his desk, saying: "Lucas Klipz. Evanora's first love.." - He looked at both of them, not knowing how to feel - "However, I am afraid that even if he came back thanks to magic, he would become even more traumatized to know that his former classmate is now a serial killer. Her condition is complicated, and I don't know how he will react."
"Nick, is this our only option? BlackOut will have a mental breakdown." - Pandora asked her husband, worrying for BlackOut's reaction to Lucas, and Lucas' reaction to BlackOut.
"I would assume so." - Nicholas answered.
"I got to experience BlackOut's doings first hand in the past. She even infected you a few years back, hun, we tried to stop her from killing any more people and tried to get her arrested.." - Pandora continued, hesitating on the decision at hand, then facing her daughter and her classmate - "Naturally she got arrested, but soon enough managed to break out. It's no surprise that she is a wanted criminal across the nation."
"Yes, I remember, sweetie. I recovered with proper treatment, it was some sort of disease that spreaded through my body. But if someone else like Lucas or even mere humans come in contact with her corrupted magic, I'm afraid they wouldn't survive for long." - Nicholas added to his wife's statement.
"I'll revive Lucas. We have to try it!" - Aaron grew more confident.
"Aaron, don't be reckless, that got you killed, remember?" - Nicholas grew serious.
"Nick.." - He sighed - "I know, but it's our only option. And I have the powers of life too..!"
"....Fine then, me and Pandora will assist you." - He finally agreed.
*Meanwhile, at BlackOut's laboratory base*
"GAH!" - BlackOut went through the wall of the lab she was in, and Alexander glared down at her, saying: "Trying to kill me was a bold move. But it also breaks what you promised when you revived me: You are not to harm me in any way if you want me as your "ally"." - He then started walking away, continuing - "Xanny. Come. We're leaving this complex."
BlackOut groaned in pain and got back up slowly, walking out of the other room, where she had landed, saying: "W-Wait–" - She breathed out - "You- You said you would help me.. You can't just back out now! I NEED YOU, REMEMBER?!"
Her eyes were glowing in a lighter shade of purple as she felt a rush of.. Fear? Well that one's new. She was angry at the fact that fear had finally caught up to her, to be vulnerable in front of a werewolf no less.
He turned his gaze to BlackOut and said: "You've survived this long. You don't need me to find a cure, because I know that's what you've been longing for, right? Your eyes give you away."
She glared at him and grew annoyed, with corruption filling her hands again. Before she could make another attack, however, Xanny glared at her. BlackOut locked eye contact with Xanny and decided to back down, letting them leave.
After they left, BlackOut once again alone, used a spell to fix the hole in her lab, saying: "I don't need him, huh.. I understand your message, God of Werewolves.. But let me give you a demonstration of what I understood." - She then grabbed her spell book and started casting a spell of resurrection.
She started floating and her eyes glowing white, with a body standing up starting to take form in front of her, making her struggle a bit. She continued to cast the spell, and, once it was done, she dropped to the ground, breathing heavily. The being who appeared in front of her was a woman.
BlackOut regained her composure and looked up at her, standing back up, her eyes got back to glowing purple, saying: "Ah.. So you're the one who tormented the God of Werewolves.."
A succubus. Purple hair with pink highlights, pointy ears, long horns, wearing a robe, with the nature of her body covering her private parts. She had pink scleras and white eyes, with dark pupils. She looked at BlackOut, saying: "Well, that depends. What's his name?"
BlackOut smirked and softly replied: "Alexander Lycan.. Ring a bell? …Vylvia Orielle?~"
Vylvia's eyes widened in surprise, and then she chuckled.
"I see you've done your homework on his past.. So what is this about? Bringing me back from Hell, going through all that trouble.. You're interesting already."
"Let's just say I wanna take revenge for something he said to me. I revived him looking for a cure to my disease, yet he left when my killing instincts went off. And Xanny followed him." - BlackOut crossed her arms, growing serious.
"...." - Vylvia didn't lose her sarcastic smile, but her tone turned from curious to devious - "My daughter is also back, hm? In the hands of that greedy boy no less. Your reasoning is understandable, but I'm only joining to get back at him for killing me."
"I like you already." - BlackOut smirked, holding out her hand.
They shook hands, BlackOut's eyes glowing in a bright shade of purple, and Vylvia's scleras turning black, leaving only her eyes in their normal white color. Both smirking at each other.
