Wei Xu eyes shook. His eyes slowly began opening and what he saw wasn't what he expected.
Instead of seeing the dark of the night all he could see is a stone roof above his head.
"!" His eyes open wide and he jumped up from the ground. He placed his hand at his waist ready to use the Formless Sword Strike when pain riddle his mind.
His body tremble and weaken to a serious amount, "Overdosed mana." He said through gritted teeths.
Overdoses mana is when a person goes beyond their mana limit. This can cause a person to be unable to use their mana for days even months and possibly years. It can also cripple ones self depending on their level of power.
"Oh you've awaken." A familiar boy manifest out of the darkness. Wei Xu looked up and saw an worried expression revealed on his face.
"You-" That was all that came out of Wei Xu mouth before his body fell to the cold floor showing how much his body have weaken. However, his eyes stayed clear and focus.
"Firstly my name is Sun Yin Zi, I am sincerely thankful that you saved my life. From now on I pledge to be your shield." The boy put his hand over his chest and a yellow light flowed out of his body and entered Wei Xu.
His body that was shaking and weaken to the fullest instantly became filled with strength. Wei Xu could feel energy brimming in his body but his mana seem to remain docile.

Wei Xu checked his watch then looked up to the boy who was all smiles. His eyes golden in color and his hair blonde with a few brown strikes. His eyebrows were also brown but a few golden trims could be seen if looked closely.
'The Dun Family.' Right away Wei Xu guessed which family the boy came from. His golden eyes and the pledge that he made hit the spot.
The Dun Family is known to be tough in physical strength and they always carry a huge shield with them. They are also known for their loyalty and everyone wish to become an ally with such a family. It's a pity that most people fail for the family is known to be strict when it comes to making friends or allies.
But for some reason Wei Xu felt the boy to not belong to the Dun Family. When he lifted him he could definitely feel that he was extremely weak.
Wei Xu could feel some sort of connection with the boy. It felt like a soul contract that allow him to know everywhere the boy goes, what he does and his emotions. It was a weird feeling.
The same as Wei Xu was checking him, Sun Yin Zi was also checking Wei Xu. They both looked up and their eyes locked, making contact.
"Hm, now that I introduce myself shouldn't you also tell me who you are?" The boy face turned red in embarrassment so he choose to asked Wei Xu a question.
"Wei Xu." He answered plainingly with no added information.
"Really just that? Come on your not gonna tell me which family your from?"
"Its surprising that you don't know anything about me." Wei Xu smiled wryly at Sun Yin Zi.
"Who have never heard of the Inc-" He was about to introduce his ironic self when the cave shook.
Rumble! Rumble! The ground shaked intensely alerting the two boys.
"An earthquake? Again?" Sun Yin Zi had a question look on his face. He was reminded of the earthquake that happened at the Academy.
"They are coming we should leave now." Wei Xu expression changed and he grabbed Sun Yin Zi and rushed out of the cave.
"What's coming? Hey!" Sun Yin Zi shouted at Wei Xu who surprise him by grabbing his wrist.
Rumble. Roar!!! The rumbling came closer and a group of wolfs covered in flames screamed at the cave.
Roar! One of the wolfs shouted and all the other wolves quiet down. The pack crouch to the ground and a female wolf came to view.
Unlike the other wolfs that were covered fully in flames this wolf had actual normal fur that was orange and white. Flames dance on its neck and feet and flames that are filled with fury burst out of its eyes.
"Find the human that killed my child!" It said spiritually to its pack of wolves. Awo! They barked and roared as they went to search the area.

Wei Xu and Sun Yin Zi appeared on a tree miles away from where the wolves appeared.
"We actually managed to escape them." Sun Yin Zi panted trying to catch his breath. The speed Wei Xu moved at left him feeling exhausted.
"Their coming again." Wei Xu grabbed the boy wrist again and began moving, 'If I could still use mana I would easily escape them already.' Wei Xu thought, feeling a bit of regret using up all his power. He was reminded of Vanishing Steps ability to teleport.
It was rather immature of him to overdose his mana but still his power left him quite amazed, 'Well I guess its not mine but Shadows.' Wei Xu stared at the spirit that floated beside him.
"Hm?" Shadow felt Wei Xu gaze and stared back at him with a grin.
"Nothing."
"Who are you talking to?" Sun Yin Zi asked still panting.
Finally they escaped the wolves and appeared at a surrounding that surprise them.
"Its another bus!" Sun Yin Zi exclaimed loudly. He have manage to regain his breath.
Wei Xu raised his eyebrow before moving towards the bus. Boom! Explosions after explosions trembled the ground as he moved closer, "Someone must be fighting." He said as he increase his speed more.
Boom! Su Haixui held her great sword. Her hands became weak and sweat drip from her forehead. She was starting to get tired and it could be seen on the other students from C1 and C2 faces.
"Hah!" Boom! Every strike she makes create a bang and the wolves that came toward her was blown back covered in injuries but not dead.
Every strike she make cost a lot of her mana and soon she will run out and enter the overdose range. If that were to happen she would clearly die along with the other students that rely on her.
"Hah! Dammit!" Boom! Another wolf went flying but she couldn't help but curse. That was the last bit of mana she could release. Her mana have already entered overdosed zone and pain started shaking her mind and body.
Awo! A wolf bear its claws at her, "I couldn't hold on. Sorry everyone." She thought of all the other students who rely on her strength. "Sorry big brother, how can I expect to protect you when I can't even protect myself." Her face became sadden when she thought of her crippled brother.
Awo! The wolf came closer. Swoosh! Just before the wolf kill her a knife pierce into its head.
"You don't need to protect me. But you need my protection."
