Sam could only wonder where the beautiful Valkyrie was leading him, his heart pounding uncontrollably as his head played fantasies he had always dismissed as unrealistic. Why was he following her in the first place? Shouldn't he have ordered her to return to her quarters instead? The answers to those questions eluded him as he continued to stare at the magnificent sight of her back, the shape of which was accentuated by the tight skirt she wore.
Nine seemed to slow down after a while, masking any sound her movements might create. He instinctively did the same, which made it look like they were sneaking around, adding to the pile of questions Sam had. Soon enough, the reason for their wariness became clear as the blonde Valkyrie stopped behind one of the bookcases and slowly pulled a rather thick volume, creating a small gap. Peeking through it, she silently motioned for Sam to take a look for himself, a suppressed smile on her lips.
By that point, Sam's interest was piqued, and he convinced himself that he might as well see what she was trying to show him now that he had come all the way here. Careful not to touch the humanoid weapon, he peeked into the gap and immediately turned into stone.
It was the male soldier who had entered earlier, but he wasn't alone. A female soldier was there with him. She was on her knees, her head bobbing back and forth in front of the man's bare crotch, something long sliding in and out of her mouth. Sam recoiled, almost losing his balance. As if that scene wasn't shocking enough, he was surprised to see the startled look the Valkyrie gave him, as if she had been caught off guard by his sudden movements.
It was a second later that he realized the blonde one had no clue what she had been looking at.
"We need to leave!" He yelled as quietly as possible.
"Eh!? But it's just getting started!"
Ignoring Nine's protest, Sam slowly moved away from the area where the two soldiers were having their fun. Luckily, those two were too into it to pay any mind to their surroundings, allowing him and the humanoid weapon to retreat to where they came from. Once there, Sam had the Valkyrie show him the route she used to enter the library. They left the building through a back door hidden behind multiple bookcases—a blind spot in the base out of the security camera's range, just like the spot the two soldiers used for their fun.
With something like that going unnoticed, Sam began to feel that the base wasn't as secure as they thought. If a stealth-type Calamity sneaked its way through such gaps, it could slaughter every last human stationed there, and they wouldn't be able to do anything to stop it.
'Glad we're in the more peaceful parts of the frontline...'
With the Valkyrie leading the way, the two made it to his lab entirely unnoticed. Sam collapsed onto his chair, feeling as if his exhaustion had reached new heights. His blurry sight remained on the ceiling for a few seconds, then he remembered that he wasn't alone, prompting him to look at the blonde Valkyrie.
"Nine, just... what were you thinking…?"
He wasn't looking for an answer, really. The Valkyrie led him to the site of a couple's private time and showed him the scene as if it were something interesting to watch. She obviously had no idea of what was happening back there, nor did she know why he reacted the way he did.
"Umm… Is something wrong, Doctor?" The concern in her voice showed that she had yet to grasp the nature of her mistake.
"Yes, something is very wrong," Sam replied. "Spying on others while they clearly meant to hide, that's clearly something you aren't supposed to do!"
The library was a public space, so it was the soldiers' fault for not choosing a more private location. Still, that didn't give others the right to watch.
"Does… does that apply to me as well?"
Among the responses he expected to hear, Sam couldn't find any that matched what the Valkyrie said.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Blinking a couple of times, she pointed a finger at herself and spoke as if it were the most obvious fact in the world.
"I'm not a person."
Sam was flabbergasted by how correct and wrong her answer was at the same time, so much so that he face-palmed himself hard enough to cause his glasses to bend.
"D-Doctor!? Are you okay!?"
Nine took a step forward, her hands moving around aimlessly as she tried to figure out what to do. Sam held a hand up to stop her, then put his glasses aside while massaging the bridge of his nose. A drop of blood trickled out of his nostrils, showing that he had gone too far.
Valkyries weren't human, so expecting them to follow some of humanity's unwritten rules was an exercise in futility.
"Just to be clear… How far did you see?"
He was sure the words she used were 'lately, I've found something interesting to watch' and 'it's just getting started', which could only mean that today wasn't the first time she'd seen those two.
"Well... I usually watch till the end..." Nine said, looking up as if trying to recall. "Most of the time, they would stop after a couple of minutes, then-."
"How-" Cutting her off before she could go into more details, Sam asked the second question. "Many times did you see it?"
"Nine times. Not counting today and the first time I found them, since I wasn't there from start to finish."
Sam felt like everything he ever believed in had just shattered into a million pieces. Nine, the gorgeous Valkyrie with the kind older sister character, has turned out to be a pervert who enjoys watching other people getting off. No, it would be more accurate to say she was a pervert from the get-go since it was already programmed into her AI, though she doesn't seem to derive any pleasure from it and only sees it as something curious.
'In the first place, do Valkyries even experience those kinds of urges?'
Odin was a strange man, so it wasn't easy to guess what he'd programmed into the AIs. As far as their shells go, they seem to be a much simpler rendition of the human body, if one doesn't count what makes them a weapon, of course. They didn't need to eat or drink, but they had parts that helped them process food and were programmed to eat meals regularly, just like any other human being. There was no doubt that Odin had equipped them with the right parts down there, though it was difficult to tell if they worked the same way as the human counterpart. Still, from the way Nine reacted to that scene, Sam doubted that her underwear was any less dry than it was when she wore it that morning.
"Listen very well, Nine." He began, letting out another sigh while collecting his thoughts. "It doesn't matter if you're human or a Valkyrie, what we saw back there was something people wouldn't want to be seen. Not even through the lens of a camera. You can't watch it as it happens or record it without permission. Understood?"
"Well…"
"Some things are supposed to stay private because people don't want others to see them, no matter who or how. Make sure to avoid such situations from now on."
"Um…"
The Valkyrie lingered with her response, and Sam's eyes narrowed by the second. He had a feeling that she wasn't going to say she understood and put an end to the matter, and she went on to prove him right.
"They were in a public area so…" she said, averting her gaze while smiling awkwardly.
Sam facepalmed himself once more. He did not expect her to use that argument.
"Just…" Feeling like he'd collapse at any moment, Sam leaned back into his chair. "Make sure to leave the moment you find yourself in such situations. And make sure you don't get noticed."
"... Understood…
Though that was her answer, the conflicted look on Nine's alluring face told him she was far from convinced. Still, Sam had a feeling that she wouldn't go around peeping anymore. He might not be the base's commander, but his word as the Valkyrie Technician held some weight. He is the one who decides whether they are put out of commission, after all.
Putting his glasses back on, Sam checked his phone. There was still some time before the Valkyries would have to go on patrol, but he wasn't looking to keep the blonde Valkyrie around until then. As he moved to dismiss her, he found himself frozen solid for the second time that day.
Round blue eyes stared into his, their size alerting him to the short distance separating him from their owner. He felt a warm, gentle breath caressing his nose, causing an odd tingling sensation over his spine. Golden strands fell like a curtain, but a hand brushed them away before stopping by the side, as if to block the whisper he soon heard from reaching ears other than his.
"Say, Doctor." With a smile unlike anything she had shown him before, the blonde Valkyrie lit a flame inside him. "If I'm not allowed to watch, how about the two of us do it instead?"
Still like a statue, Sam couldn't take his eyes from the shimmering sapphires before him. His throat dried out in a second, prompting him to swallow his own saliva. This might be the closest he had been to one of the humanoid weapons, though it was difficult to think of her as one when they were in that position. The way she leaned it to whisper left her enormous breasts hanging, and if not for the tight blouse holding them in place, they would have been pressed against his chest by now.
"Good thing no one is around. We won't have to worry about anyone watching us~"
The blonde Valkyrie backed away, and Sam drew in breath, realizing that he hadn't done so in some time. Tension drained from his body as he tricked himself into thinking it was over, but a single touch turned him into stone once again.
"If my guess is correct, you need a male and a female for this," With a hand on his right leg, the blonde Valkyrie went down, kneeling right before him. "I might not be a human, but I was made to resemble your females as much as possible."
The view stole all his focus, forcing Sam to keep his eye on the Valkyrie. His brain was slow to process the visual, but the rest of his body was already reacting. With such a curvaceous beauty closing in on his crotch, the beast sealed inside awakened, bending the fabric of his pants as it slowly rose.
This was bad. This was really bad. Sam could tell that much from the start, but something was preventing him from taking any action. It was almost as if the hand resting on his leg took away his will. That hand was never supposed to land anywhere on his body. It was a fact he had known even before he took on his current job a year ago, but it was only now that it had touched him that he came to comprehend it.
"This must be it," With his eyes fixed on the delicate hand resting on his leg, Sam failed to notice as the blonde Valkyrie went to touch a different part of his body. "This is that thing only males have."
A gentle caress, then another. A single spark shot up his nervous system, and the next instant, the urges that had gone on unsatisfied for more than a year surged forward at the same time, breaking the petrification curse holding him still. Sam came back to his senses, and a wave of horror flooded his mind as he realized what he was looking at, causing him to jump away, ending up on the floor after stumbling on his chair.
The pain signaled that what happened wasn't just a wet dream. Before he knew it, Sam had crawled to the other side of the room. Nine remained in the same spot, eyes wide with shock as she watched him clutch the left side of his chest with his back pressed against the wall. Realizing that she was entirely oblivious to what she had done, he couldn't help but voice a question.
"W-what are you doing!!!?"
