Chapter 12 - Spirit Control

Planet Namek is very beautiful when looked upon from outer space. Although I have seen only two planets, planet Namek is the most beautiful.

I'm sure the new inhabitant will like it here. The Cerealian settled quite quickly in their new home, all things considered.

The only minor thing is the absence of Cereal Dragon Ball amidst the Cereal Namekian. So elder Mollusc decides to leave them, as he feels it would be impolite toward Grand Elder Guru.

Although the Grand Elder doesn't mind, Elder Mollusc remains adamant. In the end, Grand Elder only chuckles and respects his choice.

The Cerealian quickly built a home for them, and with my help, a village was created not far from Grand Elder Guru village.

Now, a week has passed. I keep in contact with my fellow Saiyan with my telepathic link via Bardock. He said there's a new assignment in 6 months to Planet Meat.

I don't know if Frieza had some hand on that assignment or if the group was killed by happenstance, so I told the group to stay training and be careful.

The people who knew me besides Bardocks Team questioned them on my whereabouts. Bardock said I'm on leave for training purposes.

The scientist and my father seem confused by this, as they think such things are useless for me and want me to go on more missions to gain strength faster.

Thankfully, Vegeta vouched for me and said if I think my leave for training is essential, it must be so and proceeded to train even more challenging on his own.

Looks like my time with Vegeta is not wasted then, if he can give that high of regard to someone else not named Vegeta, a.k.a himself and his father.

Vegeta also got a mission to conquer a planet called Fishe with Nappa, his minder, and a young Raditz in a couple of months.

I will send him a telepathic message later when a return order from Frieza is called. However, I'm not inclined to put my trust in him yet, what with him being a literal child.

Now, I can finally focus on training, something I sorely need. But unfortunately, I forgot that an advanced level of KI control, called Spirit Control, exists.

I do achieve Spirit Control. Instant Transmission is the technique that can be learned through Spirit Control, and it's the most fundamental technique.

But if I master Spirit Control, my KI Sense would grow leaps and bounds, and my problem of lacking the means to teleport without a KI signature will be fixed.

Efficiency in KI management is a defining factor in winning or losing a battle. And without a father that wishes for his sons to thrive like Goku, I'll need every advantage I can get.

The next thing on my agenda is finding a way to be allowed by Grand Elder Guru to get a wish from Porunga. The only excuse I can make is to get stronger to defeat Frieza, but I'm not too keen on lying to the Grand Elder.

He's like everyone's grandpa, and It's not like I can't defeat Frieza without the Dragon Ball. So maybe I can tell Grand Elder Guru that, sooner or later, Frieza will learn the existence of Dragon Ball.

And if Frieza desires something, not many things can stop him from achieving it when he learns that Planet Namek has the Dragon Ball.

'Question for later. For now, I just focus on my training' I make a passing thought.

I need to learn Forced Spirit Fission, an extremely advanced Spirit Control technique, which is an ultimate nullifier for most of the enemies in this universe.

A lot of enemies rely on absorbing or combining in this universe. So if I can separate someone like Perfect Cell from the #17 and #18, he becomes less of a threat.

And in case someone like Future Zamasu does some shenanigans like using Potara, I can make it easier for myself if I know Forced Spirit Fission.

'Now, let's begin my training anew,' I say with a grin.

As I ruminated on the fate of Kakarot after I sent him away to a reasonably unremarkable planet called Earth while waiting for our arrival on Planet Meat.

Gine disagreed with me before I gave her my reasoning, citing that Frieza planned to eradicate all Saiyan, and I didn't want to take any chance.

I told her we would meet him again anyway, as Broly-Sama promised my team and me that we would settle on Planet Earth.

When I arrived at Planet Vegeta, my team and I began the plan to save a fellow-minded Saiyan as directed by Broly-Sama.

Not many Saiyan have the mindset for it, or as Broly-Sama naively says, kind-hearted.

I think we have a better chance of finding a Super Saiyan who can defeat Frieza rather than finding a kind-hearted Saiyan like Gine.

We still tried, though, as I felt terrible about what would happen to them. Many of my fellow Saiyans would often say I'm too soft to be a Saiyan. I suppose they are kind of correct.

When Planet Meat comes to my attack ball com, I contact my team and tell them to get ready for the mission.

This mission is pretty straightforward. First, make a landing, then eradicate all the inhabitants.

There is no need to protect this planet's inhabitants, as the Meatian are not precisely innocent people.

They are a bunch of space pirates who thrive on stealing and killing. They even do some privateering for Frieza from time to time.

Recently though, Frieza's territory is ransacked by the Meatian, and he orders the Saiyan to raze the planet to the ground.

For the so-called Strongest in Universe, Frieza seems mighty lazy to do the deed himself.

His claim as the strongest seems absurd, though, as everyone knows that his brother, who lives in the same galaxy as Frieza, is more potent than him, let alone the rest of the universe.

A universe is a vast place, after all. There is no way to know who is the strongest or owns the universe, if it even has an owner.

As we arrived on the planet, we regrouped in the sky and used our KI sense to detect the Meatian location.

When we feel the outburst of KI, we sense a powerful KI somewhere in the north of where we are.

We activate our scouter to determine the enemy combatant and are surprised by their power levels.

"It seems we have some misinformation Bardock," Taro said.

"We are informed that the Meatian have a power level of 300 on average, not 40 thousand," Fasha said, incredulous.

"No, I think Frieza has begun his plan to exterminate the Saiyan, starting from us. He falsely thinks that we are the strongest group of Saiyan, so he kills us first," I explained to everyone present.

"What should we do, Bardock?" Gine asked in worry.

"My team and I will deal with them. But, on the other hand, you try to contact Broly-Sama, some of our opponents have a power level of 120 thousand, and that's not even the highest. The two with the 250 thousand power level is what worries me," I said urgently, to which Gine returned with a nod and then flew towards her attack ball.

"Who might they be, Bardock? I don't remember to have seen a power level this high besides Broly-Sama," Shugesh asks, eyes narrowed.

"The three with 40 thousand power level and the one with 120 thousand near them are probably the Ginyu Force. The two with 250 thousand power level each, hmm, I can only hazard a guess," I answered them.

"Looks like Frieza doesn't want to take any chance with us and brings out all of his powerful fighters for us," Leek said with a smirk.

"What's the plan here, Bardock?" Taro asked me.

"We use everything we got from the training. We take advantage of the enemy not knowing KI Sense and kill them individually. As Broly-Sama says, no matter how strong you are, if you're caught off guard, it can be fatal," I said to my team.

"Make a party of two and overwhelm a single enemy. We keep a tight suppression on our KI and release it in a burst for a deciding blow. Take any potshot you can using a condensed KI Beam but try to coordinate with your teammate and do it together," I planned with my team.

"Don't stand your ground for some misguided act of bravery. There is a saying called a tactical retreat, after all. Be smart, be efficient, and always go for the kill. We are not strong enough to spare our enemy here" I decided to end the strategy and ask them if they had any questions.

"Do we need to face them, Bardock? We do not have a chance to win against that 3 enemies with over 100 thousand power levels," Shugesh asked me rather timidly.

Instead of belittling him like a regular Saiyan for a seeming act of cowardice, I mull over his worried question.

"We need to have this fight and overcome it, Shugesh. Otherwise, we will not grow as fighters. If we always fall back to Broly-Sama as a safety net, we are no better than the honorless Saiyans back at home, who have grown complacent over the last decade."

"I know that Broly-Sama is not an Evil Tyrant like Frieza, but if we want to stand by his side, we need to overcome this hurdle ourselves," I explain to Shugesh, which inflames his and all of my team spirit.

"Let's do this," I said to my team, then flew towards our enemies.
