The man got up, hands in his pockets, and walked heavily to the floor-to-ceiling window, his eyes fixed on the direction of the door, silent and speechless.
Tara Summer understood he was waiting for Liam Yancey. She patted Four's back, said a few comforting words, then got up and walked behind Norton Abyss.
"Norton, will you help me to find Nine?" She gazed at the tall back of the man, her small face slightly tense.
Norton Abyss nodded, but did not immediately answer her. Instead, he turned around, and seeing this, Tara Summer stood shoulder to shoulder with him. Only then did the man lower his head and say, "If it was indeed Rudy who took Nine away, I won't let him get away with it!"
The man narrowed his eyes, a murderous glint flashing in his eyes. Tara Summer looked up just in time to see his expression, her heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively grabbed his collar.
