"Woah! That was pretty! Can I do that now?" Eliza asked, putting her hand up in the air, but I pulled it down.
"W-W-What are you?! There is no sorcerer alive who could create something that powerful! You could level a city with that!" Senna exclaimed.
"Let's worry about getting to Northwall. I really didn't mean to make it that big, but there is so much Pure Magic in the air!" I said almost lustfully.
This world really did have it all—women, Magic, and no men, except for this guy!
"You really do get excited about weird things. I am sure a sorcerer is going to come and try to find you now, but you said the Magic is in the air; what does that mean?" Senna asked.
"Hmm? Do you use your own mana? I mean, I suppose I could, but that would be a far smaller tank to draw from than the stuff that is just floating in the air. Here, Equestus Restoria!"
Green light surrounded our horses and sunk into them, and the mounts perked up, breaking into a much faster pace. Senna gasped at the display, while Eliza crossed her arms.
"I want to do some magic!" Eliza complained.
"You are joking with me, right? You can just cast anything you want without ever getting tired? You have to be a monster; there is no way that you are Goddessian like us!" Senna declared, and I looked at her.
"What did you just call yourself?" I asked Senna, my face going serious.
"Goddessian? What did you think we were?" Senna asked.
"Human, but that begs a whole swarm of other questions. Though I think the Countess is about to bite me if I don't teach her something," I said as Eliza looked up at me, her mouth drawing dangerously close to my arm.
"I did ask," Eliza insisted. I smiled down at her and kissed the top of her head, making her blush.
"Interesting. I have never seen someone kiss another on the head like that unless it was a mother to a daughter," Senna noted, and I shrugged.
"I like it from Galio; it is not the same as when mom did it," Eliza said softly, going quiet, and I gave an understanding nod.
"Put your palm up and try to feel the magic. Draw it into you like a warm blanket wrapping around yourself," I explained to Eliza while channeling my energy to guide the Magic into her hand.
It was essentially cheating, but guiding her hand directly was an excellent way to help someone get a natural feel for spellcasting. Professional magic tutors would probably scoff at the technique, but I just wanted to help Eliza take her mind off her mother.
"Now, say Fira, and concentrate upward," I whispered close to her ear, and Eliza nodded.
"Fira!" Eliza called out. Flames burst from her hand like a fountain, shooting ten feet into the air and fanning out at the peak for three full seconds.
"Countess Eliza! That was amazing! You are a natural!" Senna exclaimed. Eliza turned in my lap and kissed me passionately, wrapping both arms around my neck.
I returned the kiss, getting lost in the moment while riding at speed.
"Thank you so much for that! I could tell you were guiding me, but I really got to feel what it was like!" Eliza beamed after breaking the kiss, keeping her arms linked around my neck as we rode forward.
"Do you think you might be able to show me how to do that sometime?" Senna asked shyly, and I glanced over, nodding.
"Yup, I can definitely help you out if you want to learn, but we should keep this between us for now. I wouldn't want bad people getting hold of this knowledge if environmental casting isn't common knowledge already. The last thing I need is to go hunting down rogue magic users because I was reckless," I explained, and both girls nodded in agreement.
"I can definitely see why this kind of thing should remain a secret. The world would become a far more dangerous place," Senna agreed.
"Now, back to the Lich Queen. What's her deal?" I asked, steering the topic back.
"She wants to have a baby, but no one wants to perform the Mating Ritual with her," Eliza said plainly.
"And that's why undead are escaping? Why doesn't someone just perform the ritual with her?" I asked, slightly confused.
"No one survives long enough. The undead don't attack her, but they attack everyone else. Anyone who goes near her territory is torn apart before they can even finish," Senna explained, and I felt the familiar spark of a challenge ignite in my chest.
"Looks like I know where my next destination is after Northwall! I'll go fix the problem! Anyway, that massive wall up ahead—what's that all about? Isn't that a bit overkill?" I asked curiously, but neither woman was going to let my prior comment slide.
"What?! You're completely out of your mind at this point! The walls are that big because eight-foot-tall amazons can jump thirty feet in the air! And there are naturally occurring undead monsters that stand as tall as that fifty-foot wall!" Senna declared, and I nodded in pure excitement.
"Are you really saying you would fight all the way to the Queen just to help our people?" Eliza asked, approaching my statement from an entirely different angle than Senna.
"If things are really that wild out there, I might need to train for a bit and farm some good deeds," I mused, thinking of the two remaining points I needed to activate my Karma System skill.
"Yup, she's stark raving mad, My Lady! We should just drop her off back at the village after this and never get involved with her again! It's for the best!" Senna complained, and I held up a hand.
"Aqua." A bubble of water splashed directly onto Senna's face before I stated, "I am a MAN! I can handle it! Plus, fighting super strong monsters is almost as good as spending time with pretty ladies like you two, though the two hit differently. If you know what I mean."
