"Serious, boss? You want to jump ship?" Tau Su asked.
"Not immediately, of course," Xiong Ba replied. "We will see how things go first. If they still don't give us any work in one week, we will look for someone from the Devotion Faction and offer our services."
"Will that be okay? We have killed many of the Devotion Faction's members, after all."
"Hah! We are mercenaries. We kill anyone as long as someone pays us to. If they do anything to us when we offer them our services, no mercenary will be willing to work for them anymore."
"Okay, Boss. We will follow your lead."
"Of course, if we do go that route, you will be the one who approaches them and sees if they are willing to cooperate."
Tau Su gave his leader an irritated expression.
"I was kidding," Xiong Ba chuckled. "We will send the newbies for that and watch from a distance. If they are not whacked, then we proceed with the plan."
Tau Su shook his head. "Whatever you say, Boss."
