The stench in that place was like burning meat. The air was so thick and foul that Isiah could swear he saw dark smoke rising from the corpses of those drenched mages.
They were all laying on the ground, burned to death.
Their smell was like scorched flesh, utterly revolting, yet Isiah felt something terrible welling up inside him.
This was the second time he had rendered the corpses unedible.
He looked around until he recognized Visdaf's face. She had been charred by that dark electricity as well.
Isiah smiled, a painful grimace tightening across his face. "Talking so big... I told you that I was going to kill you, but you didn't listen... not even for a second."
Isiah walked among those corpses while experiencing tremendous physical pain. He had to march through them very fast so he wouldn't feel any reaction toward them.
