The unpredictable trajectories of Laurene's divinity beams forced Pride to devote even more of her attention to defending against the incoming attacks, especially while she was simultaneously occupied dealing with Roselia's swordsmanship.
Before long, Roselia found another opening, and her blade pierced deep into Pride's side, cutting into her body before sliding back out with such incredible speed that Pride couldn't react in time to catch the blade before it had already been withdrawn.
The moment Roselia pulled her sword back, demonic energy condensed around the blade, and she activated her Abyssal Eruption skill.
