While the two Deadly Sins of Greed were busy throwing money at each other, Abigail and David found themselves facing the Deadly Sin of Gluttony.
It was a battle in which both of them were forced to rely almost entirely on martial arts and physical combat techniques, limiting their energy manipulation to amplifying their physical strength or simply coating their direct attacks with Universal Law Energy.
If they used anything like AOE energy-based attacks, they'd essentially be feeding Gluttony more power, as his Gluttonous Devouring granted him the ability to devour magic, demonic energy, and many other types of energy before converting that energy into demonic energy or magic that he could then use in combat.
Of course, there was a limit to how much he could absorb. However, being more than 50 levels below him, Abigail and David were simply incapable of exceeding Gluttony's absorption limit.
As for how they were bridging that gap in power, the answer was simple.
